Return to Classic Mail
Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

Search by Subject & Folder
I use Mail search almost everyday and the old Yahoo mail let me search by subject and folder. folder search is now gone in the new version. How do I switch back or get this daily used feature back ASAP?

unable to move emails from sub folder to inbox
i can move emails from inbox to a subfolder, but if i make a mistake i cannot move from a subfolder to inbox. drag and drop doesn't work nor does ticking the checkbox and clicking on 'move to inbox'. it doesn't work in standard or basic yahoo versions.
This includes the spam folder which now has some emails incorrectly put there by yahoo's filters from my bank that i cannot move back to the inbox.7th ranked -
Moving inbox email to other folders
HELP with this new email version.... I CANNOT MOVE any email from inbox to folders using either dragging the email to the box or using the ACTION box!

Search Emails by Keywords
The new Yahoo Mail version does not allow you to search emails by keywords as the previous version did. This is an important feature which needs to be added back immediately.

Scrolling through mail is jumpy as it skips emails
Scrolling through email is impossible. I use the scroll wheel on my mouse to look through email as I use a pc. I can start at the top and after one or two short scrolls down it jumps down so I miss several hours of emails For example, my newest email came at 6:12pm today..After I get down to 4:20pm it jumps to mail received at 1pm without my even scrolling and when I go back up I see I missed 32 emails received. Draft emails just delete while you are working on them
Three times I have been writing an email and suddenly yahoo just says your email has been deleted. It just happened to me 11:47am 6/20/25 AZ time. I am so frustrated. I don't know why this happens and how to stop it.

Calendar Feedback
Why have red/yellow green flag notations at all when they don't show up on my calendar page? And why can't I see all of events that I've entered onto a certain date? I use the flags to help find certain events when I need to remind myself of something. And I don't want to go through extra steps to view the whole day, regardless if was in the past or the future. In short, IMO, the current format sucks 💩.

backspace deletes emails that are being replied to
When I try to reply to an email and I hit the back space, at all, it deletes the entire email. I just hit the back space on a very important thread of emails and it permanently deleted the entire string of emails I have been trying to work out a return for an expensive product for. Advertisement issues - Virus
advertisements that can result in a virus like encounter should not be allowed on yahoo mail. the ad prompted me to a page which resulted in a screen and audio claiming my computer was corrupted and i should not shut or close the computer and asked me to call Microsoft at the telephone number on the screen. because i was afraid to do that i had to shut the computer down manually and reboot.

Ads: Fake Checkboxes - Looks Like an Email
Ads in my inbox should not be permitted to look like a checkbox to get clicks.
I had an ad with a box that appeared to be a checkbox, I clicked and it took me to what appeared to be a malicious link. I think it is likely something as a scare tactic to sell some form of PC protection service.

Can not forward emails with attachments
As in a few days ago I could not forward emails with attachments. I have to go to the old version to do so.
Also, I do not know why now every attachment gets copied twice. If I send an email with 5 attachments when I go back to my email now it has 10 files.How often are you allowed to make changes? It is taking way too long for these things to get fixed.

Where is the idea list? How can I search ideas if you you remove the list? What's WRONG with you? Is there a competent person under 30 (40?) in the workforce these days? Or is this even handled by humans at all?

Verify advertising links!
I clicked an AD link at the top of my inbox and it immediately opened one of those scams where your screen is locked, there is a siren noise and a voice telling you your PC is compromised and to call the flashing number on the screen. I recognized the scam and took the necessary steps to clear and protect my PC, but I was disappointed that the scam came from a link in Yahoo.
