highlighted viewed email fields
I feel like I prefer having highlighted email fields for the "read emails" rather than just bold text for unread emails... At least have such option in Settings/customization

Add delete filter option
In the filter tab, you can add and edit filters, but delete is not an option in the new yahoo mail. Please add this. Thanks.

Inbox / Emails
In dark mode, it's really hard to distinguish what is unread and what has been read. I see the little dot, and the text is bold for unread emails, but still pretty hard to see what's unread and read. It would be nice if the row for a new email was maybe a little different shade if a mail is unread versus read.

Stop "improving" the look.
Stop following in the MS foot steps - constantly changing the way that the layout looks. People have shown time and again that they do not like these "new and improved" layouts. I am comfortable with the original layout and the new one is VERY disorienting and difficult to navigate.

Old view vs. New
I hate how you decided what features were kept and which are still available. I can't find where the emails are broken down by day anymore. I need that feature. Also, don't assume I want to be on what you think is a priority email. You don't have to be like GMail. That's why I still use Yahoo. If you muck it up like GMail then I'll have to look for another email source. I've been with you for over 20 years. I would even love the idea to have it look like the old email system setup. It wasn't…

Let us decide which format WE would like to have, not FORCE us to bend to your choice of format. We have been navigating very well previously. New ideas are not best for everyone who may not be as astute to new technology! Some segments of the population do not like change! It is not always what we want, or need.

Ad Placement
I don't like how the ads look bold like unread messages mixed into my list of emails.

It would be great if Yahoo could address security concerns.
Why couldn't someone answer my question?

Hover over your address in an email in your mailbox and click on "Add to contacts". Create a saved contact for your own address and edit the name that appears so it's correct.

Stop with the god dam pop-ups ands notifications.
Little windows popping up telling me things I didn't ask for an know. It's distracting making me think I need to take action when I really don't. I have to look to see what's going on and...
"Oh nothing is fraking going on! It's just your package is on the way today!"
No shiz, Sherlock! I already know!
I'd love to know what you changed besides the look and useless dumba$$ notifications. Calm this thing down. It's more active than my colon.71st ranked -

Does not work properly
Once again Yahoo has forced this useless change on me. Now once again my email doesn't function properly. From what I understand this time there is no going back to the functional version. Over twenty years of using the email that worked now just stopped.

Date divider
Please add date dividers like there was on the old email starting on the left side. Visually, it was faster to know when emails came through on separate dates, now we have to go and look at each individual email and which date it came on.

seamless delete
in the old yahoo mail, when we delete an email by hovering it on the list, we can simply click it again to delete the next one, the current new yahoo mail requires us to slightly move the mouse pointer before the prompt for delete appears. it would be nice if we can have a seamless delete similar to how it works

Look and feel
This new look and feel is on the childish side. It would be nice if we could a mail service that looks like it was made for professionals.

Remove third/fourth tab (calendar, starred, contacts etc)
I have no need to view the third/fourth tab that has calendar, contacts, starred links - so it uselessly takes up a good chunk of my laptop's screen. I want it gone and I cannot see any option to remove it from my screen.
