Maximum Start Limit for all pitchers in Roto/Points leagues.
We need an option for a MAXIMUM START Limit for starting pitchers in Roto/Point leagues. There is already a limit on games played for position players in rotisserie leagues.
Something tells me if I could cap the starting pitchers to 162 games, our league would be more fun. Positions are already capped at 162 games (if you want to). It would force the middle relievers to be more valuable and the SP would be more valuable as well.

I AGREE and have agreed for the past 15 years! A team only plays 162 games per season. That's only 162 starts for C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, LF, CF, RF, Util/DH. No position can play more than 162 games in a season -- so why are we allowing SP's to start more than 162 games per season? It's never made sense to me. Every year, as commish, *I* have keep track of everyone's SP total -- and many times, many owners go over 162 GS's (which is impossible in real life, in a standard season). If it's impossible in real life, why are we allowing it here -- and just for 1 position on the whole team? I would like an answer to that -- but what I'd also like is the OPTION for leagues to set a 162 GS limit for SP's. What's the harm in giving us the OPTION to play how we see fit? Thank you.

Don't agree with this...This is called FANTASY for a reason. People like you are just lazy, If you stay active you will be ok..And for the whole 5 MAN rotation.. How many RP are on a MLB team.. And then we should put a cap on plate appearance to. I can go on and on. Just don't be lazy...

Maybe this helps: I cap pitching at 1400 innings with a SP, SP, RP, RP, P, P, P set up and have had the same set up for years. Teams with a five man SP rotation and who fill the RP option slots regularly with RP always fall right around the 1400 total end of season. It works out pretty perfect. Jerk teams that load with more than 5 SPs that they constantly start for stats always max out early and lose out on RP stats. Which is great to me since a Major league team usually has a 5 man rotation. In other words, 1400 max innings has worked out for an intended 5 man for stats rotation; and a team can still have 6 or more SPs, they just shouldn't start them all all of the time in my league. I would guess it's the same result as you want with a 162 game max idea.
