Changes to My Yahoo are horrible.
I have been using My Yahoo news app on my PC for ages - the new format is horrible! I liked the previous app where I could choose my news sources, see a short list of my Yahoo mail, see financial indexes, all on one page in an easy to read format. The new My Yahoo has no way to personalize it, and it's doom scrolling for any stories I might want to read. It is terrible, and I will not use it or my Yahoo mail accounts any more unless you go back to the old format or change…

Trash the changes and return to the good format you had.
The old Yahoo presented me with a number of sources and allowed me to choose which ones I preferred and which I didn't care about. Now you make my choices for me. I think that's a really bad idea. Whoever designed this new page really needs to find a new day job. The page is just a mish-mash of mostly garbage.

my.yahoo cancellation
you know what would have been an intelligent business model. let me tell you, before you eliminate a successful page like my.yahoo, you had rolled out a new financial page with instructions about how to customize it and thereby recruit people to your new, modern, efficient way of engaging yahoo members. YOU FAILED IN THIS ENDEAVOR - BAD FOR BUSINESS and the manager of this transition should be FIRED

Dec 2024 change to yahoo is useless as a start page
Please bring back my.yahoo customization. The new December 2024 update is useless if we can't choose specific features. I have ben using my.yahoo as my start page for decades, and will now have to find something else.

My Yahoo Format
The new My Yahoo page does not make since. The purpose of upgrades is to improve something and not make it worthless.
When I go to Yahoo.com without signing in I get a mess of articles that I am not interested in. If I sign in to My Yahoo page using account credentials I get same list of content from providers I have no interest in. The original My Yahoo page allowed for the customization to weed out content/articles I have not interest in or trust.
The original customized My Yahoo page allowed by to see only content from select…

You did what? You killed off the old my.yahoo.com homepage?
Here’s a shrewd business decision. Change something people have religiously used as their first stop on the internet for DECADES because of its unique customizable features - and quite possibly the only time they EVER access anything besides email on the dying domain called ‘Yahoo.com’ - with something so awful that it literally drives web traffic AWAY from said domain. Dead brilliant! Emphasis on the DEAD part. Should be taught in business school on how not to fire a bullet into one’s own foot.

No customizable MyYahoo, I’m gone
The ONLY reason I use Yahoo is because of the customizable home page. No reason for me to stick around now. Typical engineering-driven decision making. LMK if you decide to bring it back.

New My Yahoo is terrible
For 20+ years, I had a "myyahoo" page that gave me a synopsys of all the news stories on the left side and all the financial info on the right side - suddenly it's gone and I am unable to navigate your new and "improved" version without dozens of clicks and re-clicks - this was an irrational decision made by uninformed people without realizng the ramifications to normal users - I paid $12.99 for a subscrioption to talk with a guy that told me my web page was no longer available - what a rip ! - I immediatly cancelled…

Killing the old my.yahoo.com customized homepage? Duh?
Killing the old my.yahoo.com customizable homepage means one thing for me. I now have no reason whatsoever to go to any URL containing the word ‘Yahoo’ in it ever again. Bye-bye. It’s been a good 25 year stretch. A amazingly dumb decision. You blew it.

My.Yahoo is dead. RIP. Yahoo will soon follow.
My7.yahoo was about the only good thing about Yahoo. I have been using my.yahoo for over 25 years. You have just lost one more user. I will find another page which I can customize, and will be certain to not add Yahoo to my feed, and you will loose add revenue because you just lost a pair of eyeballs... And the way you hanled it was atrocious. "we will replace it with something better soon". And all of a sudden, gone... And replaced by pure garbage... Great job! How not to run a business by pi..ing off users, 101.

DECEMBER 2024 disappearance of Myyahoo.
The website NEW page is like going to a carnival not in the good way. OVERWHELMING with information, and I use that loosely, that I would never be interested in. I clicked on NEWS...and it was your choice of what is NEWS...not mine. Celebrities, sports, and other subjects I am forced to scan through to maybe find what I had handpicked on MYYAHOO. You have lost a customer.

New My.Yahoo wastes time and space!
Please go back to the oriignal My.Yahoo format. This new format is an incredible waste of space [too much blank white space & way to much scrolling needed as a result] and not organizes in any manner with concise description of news events, which causes a real waste of time. There's no organization here; just a "shotgun" approach to presenting the news.

My Yahoo replacement is the "new coke"
Been here for over 20 years (25+?). My Yahoo has been a single pane of glass for me and my preferred homepage that whole time. It gave me what I wanted on a single page = perfection. Now, I have to click through multiple pages to see what I had on a single page = garbage. I have changed my homepage to something else. You will no longer get any of my clicks (dozens per day * 20+ years).
