Autism Individuals Sensory to Light-My Yahoo Is Necessary
We have two individuals in our household who are autistic with sensory to light issues, and the "My Yahoo" page was the only one they could use that did not cause them to have panic attacks and frantic outbursts. They were able to have a dark blue background that eliminated bright light. I truly wish Yahoo had not snatched that from those with disabilities. I urge Yahoo to please return the "My Yahoo" format. Thank you very much.

Dear Yahoo, it seems like you've deleted MyYahoo bookmarks. I've been saving information there for 20+ years. I did not see any warning about it, so didn't back it up. Could you please bring it back? This was the only reason I used Yahoo and now not only I don't have incentive to use Yahoo but also very upset. Please bring the bookmarks back!

New My Yahoo needs to go!
Give me back my old MY Yahoo page. The new page is a mess. I liked having some control over the layout and content of my homepage. Was that the point - to take away control so you can decide what we want and then insist that we like it? I feel lost.

WHAT A STUPID IDEA TO ELIMINATE THE MY YAHOO HOMEPAGE
I came to this site to post my idea and after reviewing more than 100 "Hot Ideas" I see no need to say WHAT A STUPID IDEA TO ELIMINATE THE MY YAHOO HOMEPAGE since 100% of these HOT IDEAS are suggesting exactly the same thing - in spite of the fact that Yahoo requested users to NOT repost the same/similar comment. Hopefully the Yahoo Development Team is reading these comments.

Will no longer be using Yahoo now that you've taken my.yahoo away.
I've been using My.Yahoo as my start page for 20 plus years. Now you're taking that away? I will not use Yahoo at all now. Using Protopage now. It's free and customizable. Not as good as the old my.yahoo but it's better than your non-customizable yahoo.com.

Why remove my.yahoo ?? Leave it available for us. It's organized, not the hot mess you are now displaying, which I won't use.
I've used my yahoo since it's inception. I have everything I want on my custom page. There is ZERO chance I will continue to use yahoo without my.yahoo

Dropping My Yahoo was a bad move 12/2024
I have used My Yahoo as my homepage since the 1990's. The new Yahoo page lacks any of the customization that allowed me to tweak it to suit my needs, not Yahoo's. So I'm done with Yahoo. Going elsewhere, sadly.

Terrible Idea
In what universe does removing My Yahoo make sense without a replacement of some type?? "My" means 'mine'... its personal and contains the things I'm interested in like weather in certain areas, portfolio items, news from specific categories, etc, etc. All I see now is jumbled up BS of which 80% is of no interest to me. Did you ever think of asking customers what they'd like or for suggestions BEFORE you take an idiotic drastic step like this?

Change is inevitable, at least make them good changes
1- themes, I need my dark theme the white page is too harsh on my eyes. 2- Zoom needs to be tweaked, I want to be able to zoom and not have to scroll side to side
3-Weather does not show my loaction and no option to detect. going to the weather tab, i can detect and set as favorite, but returing back to home page shows no change.

New My Yahoo is wrong
Who's idea is the 'New My Yahoo' home page? You need to sac them and go back to the old established format or, from all the comments, you're about to lose a lot of users, me included. This move was unwanted, unneeded, and just plain wrong. One week to return to the old format or Yahoo will be akin to 2024, GONE!!

Why change something that was working?
Yahoo was based on links to popular pages and stories. MyYahoo allowed users to customize the feeds they received from Yahoo. Now Yahoo is illiminated the unique feather that kept people using Yahoo.
There used to be Schlitz beer. It was very popular. They changed their brewing formula and were subsequently purchased by Pabst Schlitz beer while still around in small quantities lost their position in the marketplace and have never recovered. There is a lesson for Yahoo business.

Bring back the onld version of myyahoo.
Wow, this is a significant change and has devalued the quality of My Yahoo. Can't design and select the viewing options and sources that were available before the recent up/down grade. Much prefer the previous version!

Removing My Yahoo is a disgrace
Removing My Yahoo is a horrible decision & if it stays this way, I will not be staying with Yahoo. The My Yahoo that I've been using for 20+ years has been perfect, but this new version is just terrible. I will be one of countless that will be leaving
