Yahoo overall
Yahoo sucks! I'm sick to death of passwords and security *****. I'm changing my password constantly. I can't even stay signed for a day!!!
I hate yahoo and it's sad because I've had it for over 20 years, now it sucks.
Idea? Scrap the whole thing, the news is days old, seeing the same thing in the news for a week, all fluff and no content. *** ads, I could go on, it looks as though yahoo needs to be put out of its misery... I noticed there isn't a selection for the news, go figure, maybe thats…495th ranked -
Don't remove My Yahoo
I've been a Yahoo user for over 30 years. In that time I used Yahoo Groups extensively, then Yahoo took it away. I've used email that whole time. I also used My Yahoo at least 20 years and now you are taking that away. This is an extremely BAD idea. I've gone out to look at what you will be replacing My Yahoo with and to be honest, it is terrible. The main reason is you can not personalize it like you can your My Yahoo. If you take My Yahoo away, that leaves me only the Yahoo email. I…

Update isn't needed, or wanted.
You ABSOLUTELY need to RETHINK the idea of removing My Yahoo. It isn't broken, and doesn't need to be improved. If I want my homepage to look different, then let me change it to my liking. I **** sure don't need ANYONE telling me what I like and/or need. I'm 67, and retired. I'm also set in my ways. "If it aint broke, don't fix it" !!!!! Nuff said.

My Yahoo is exactly that -- "My" customizations that cannot be done with a generic website like MSN.
The "My Yahoo" experience across all of the people complaining is different from person to person. Not just the 'suggestions' but the layout and the readability. Not to mention customized content for sports and stocks that cannot be done without entirely giving us My Yahoo back with all of those functions. Why go generic? Can't this old code base be maintained cheaply? How buggy and expensive is it after being stable for 20+ years? You need to listen to the community of users and not to some odd voice in your heads.

I've been using My.Yahoo since 1999! It's a big part of how I start each day. How can you just kill it without realizing how many people are

Don't Change A Thing!
Why Get Rid Of MyYahoo? The main reason I am here is because it is the most succint homepage out there with all the customized news, sports, stocks, weather etc. that I want to see at a glance. What you are changing to Is no different than MSN, Google or any other home page. Why change a good thing that apparently many others use as well. Please reconsider.

Why are you messing with a product that works?

My.Yahoo
The new page is no different than the barrage of alternatives we already have. It's a constant feed of BS that I'm not interested in. Leave the current version, please. I've been using it since 2005. If you make this change I will never use Yahoo again!

Your downfall
Have you learned nothing from other companies that took things away from the people? Accept this as the beginning of the final end for you. It's not like your email is #1, or that your search is #1, or your homepages are #1. You are none of that. But you do have fans of the MyYahoo homepage, and you'll put the final nail in your coffin with this brainless move.

Leave the format alone. I'm here because of the classic. It's warm and inviting.

Do NOT Discontinue My Yahoo!!!
The My Yahoo home page now sports an announcement that it is soon to be discontinued. It also offers a preview of a supposed superior replacement. The replacement has no place for bookmarked hyperlinks, no way to monitor stocks, no weather widget to monitor my local weather, and no way to pick and choose my news feed. The new Yahoo doesn't seem to be customizable at all. I've been a Yahoo user since the '90s, but will not stick around if My Yahoo is dropped.

New Page and I'm out of here.
Should call the mess YOUR Yahoo, not mine. I like how my page is set up now and don't want your changes.

No
No. Simply that, No. You did not ask us before you made this decision. This was decided unilaterally, and you truly do not care what we think. And, to add insult to injury, you give us this forum to tell you what we think. And then you will ignore it. So, we say to you, No. Simply that, No.

Brain Deard Sofware Engineers Doing Their Best to Kill Yahoo
Once again brain dead software engineers have "improved" and "fixed" something and only make it terrible and not functional. Why must these brain dead people mess with something that is just fine the way it is? Why are the people who use it not allowed to keep what is useful and functional for them? Apparently these brain dead employees of Yahoo are doing their best to kill the company. I have been with Yahoo since the first year it started and now it is looking like it is time to leave.

Taking away my yahoo — why, why why??
I have been using My Yahoo since it was first introduced. I use it many times a day. I cannot imagine being online without it. I’m sad and disturbed that you’ll be discontinuing it. From the looks of this page, many others feel the same way. Please say you’ll change your mind and let it live!!
