Yahoo New Mail has a clean design and useful features, but there are several areas where it could be improved to provide a better user experience.

Recall
There really needs to be a setting to UNSEND or recall an email. The few seconds that appear is ridiculous because you generally realize at least a minute or more that it needs to be recalled. Most email applications have this option and it's pretty archaic not to have it in 2026

I see no icon for "more options". I do not see any "..." on the main page for my new Yahoo Mail account.

delete ol unread emails in one click
i see you are encouraging customers to reduce their inbox size. an option to delete all unread emails that are more than *** months old is standard in most other emails. this would be very useful. recent unread emails could be needed but old unread are almost by definition useless. thanks

Report not spam is not working
When I have already marked an email not spam more than 10 times and added the sender to my contacts, why do you still send that message to SPAM, what else I need to do?

Inbox space - how can I see info in accounts setting
I cannot see the used space of my inbox. I tried to find out via FAQ and .... ****** AI based chat bot assistant (who provides same FAQ page link with info that does not work - menu does not exist). My inbox space is key info, core info - how is not possible to see this info? Why is Yahoo!Mail giving me notification about a 15 GB limit, but no possibility to see how much I use from that storage space?

Return to the previous calendar view
I DO NOT like the new calendar. It is difficult to read and because entries no longer are in the color of their category, you have to look for the key to see what category they are in. I had to enlarge the page to 150% to add entries. NOT good.

Stop trying to be everything to everyone. It never works!!
Stop tinkering w Yahoo Mail !!! You're making it a more and more and more difficult, cumbersome and useless mail tool. You should fire all of your programmers and start over. Start over back to where it was so user friendly and easy to be yahoo.com customer/user. !!! My mail is now way slower.... I have to sign-in every time I switch between my yahoo mail accounts, I hate the IA stuff. It just keeps getting worse and worse. Better Security
Yahoo mail security could be better. Normally I can select mail to be considered spam and delete. But, I received an email from John Smith and I cannot delete it. In fact, when I select the Square next to the email it automatically opens up a Phishing window (with phone number to call and everything) and warns of a Trojan horse virus. It also locked up my computer and would not allow me to exit from the Phishing window. I would like to delete the emails from sender JOHN SMITH but I cannot. Can you please help?

Bullets, indentations, and photo resizing don't work
When I try to add bullets or sub-bullets in the middle of the text as I am composing an email, the cursor jumps to the top of the email and adds the bullet there or adds the indentation there. No reason for this. Bullets and indentations in text editors are 30+ year-old technology. Even yahoo used to get this right. But the "updated" yahoo doesn't seem to be stable on this issue.
Similarly, if I paste an image into an email, I can't resize it. Whatever size the paste defaults to (which is usually huge) is what I'm stuck with.…

DON'T SELL ADS TO HACKERS that spread VIRUSES
One of the current ads on my email feed -from John Smith, subject: These New Benefits... - is probably a virus. Just clicking to read takes you to a suspicious page and clicking the square to select and delete or mark as spam leads to the seam page.
If my MAC gets a virus because Yahoo Sells "ads" to hackers, I will sue.

Stop virus filled "ads" from filling our mailboxes.
I continue getting "ads" disguised as emails, i click the check box and it sends me to sites that spoof yahoo's site with a huge notification from my antivirus that it is a dangerous site, that viruses are detected. This isn't the first time, i can't contact you through the "contact us" option. Maybe it's because you don't care about the free users. It's getting old. Why is my email riddled with "ads" that aren't listed as ads, that hide as emails that send you to a virus filled "yahoo" site when trying to click to delete. Do better.

Mouse issues in Mail past 2 wks
For past 2 wks., when using Mail, mouse functions are horrible! The problem is ONLY when using Mail. "Clicking" on anything is delayed or impossible, trying to highlight to copy/paste is nearly impossible. Like I said it's ONLY on Yahoo Mail.... NO OTHER links, sites, pages, etc. It's horrible! Oh besides the spam/scammers that Yahoo never blocks no matter how many times it's reported.

Ad showing in inbox is Rasomwhare hijack
An advertisement email is appearing in user inboxes from the sender “John Smith” with the subject “Senior Benefits Made Easy With Senior Benefits Check”. When the link is clicked, it redirects to a browser page that hijacks the browser window. This appears to be a malicious or deceptive campaign targeting seniors.
Please investigate and remove this immediately. i can't believe Yahoo would just take money for this ad and place it in everyones mailbox.2nd ranked
