Lack of previous "sorting" protocol
I need you to put back the e-mail sorting protocol for "Subject", as it is better in a lot of cases where sorting my 'sender' doesn't work for me.

Spam filter should not be limited to 500
I would sign up for Yahoo Mail Plus in a heartbeat if it included unlimited amount of spam filters. 500 is not enough these days....

missing emails
I am missing at least two VERY important emails. I am paying for Yahoo Plus so that I can access customer service. I'm told that my issue "has been escalated" and to wait for a response. There is no expectation of time and absolutely no sense of urgency. I need help.

overseas access to email
I go overseas, snowbird, and last Christmas I could not access my email because I have a US phone that doesnt work overseas and could not get a verification code.I had no recourse and was damaged with no email access. Dont say use international roamin, that would require a new phone and a higher costly plan, already checked. The solution is to not put me on an auto 2-step verification but no human to talk to. This never happened before.

block sender quantity increase
Increase the number of blocked sender beyond 1000 or list then by date instead of alphabetically so we can clear the oldest from the list to get below 1000 and then can add more.

Show Total email count (read + unread) in yahoo mail
In 2025, Yahoo Mail remains one of the only major email providers that does not offer a setting to show the total (read + unread) message count as a badge next to your Inbox folder. This display is hardcoded to show only unread messages. Simple suggestion.

Would like the option to list total no of emails in my inbox (unread + read = total) - All other email facilities have this why not Yahoo!?
According to AI when I asked if you (Yahoo email) have the option to list the total number of emails not just unread emails as the number shown beside the inbox tab it replied the following:

AI and Stop invading privacy
I've had this e-mail for over 20 year, and was planning on using for more years in the future until I read the new terms of service.
I do not consent to anyone, nor AI to go through the information on my e-mais, and I would like to retrieve the information on it. I'm going to stop using this service until such practices are stopped.
I will also remind you of privacy laws, and that people sending me e-mails might not consent to their data being used.

Calendar requires too many steps for a simple event/reminder
To enter an appt or reminder on my calendar, I must:
1. Click the calendar icon
2. Click: calendar full view”
3. Select Week dropdown
4. Select Month, my preferred view
5. Click the calendar day
6. Give a title to the event
7. Un-select All-day event
8. Scroll up and down to pick a time (8:15 AM). I used to merely type 8:15 AM
9. I don’t need an “end time” but I’m forced to pick one. If I select 8:15 AM (the same as start time), it changes the start time back to 7:45 AM etc. Note: Sometimes…1st ranked -
Do not return the "Move" folder list to the top after each use
To move an email to a folder, one way is to go to the top of the screen and select "Move" > then scroll down the list to find the folder to move the email > and then move the email. The next time you want to move an email and select the "Move" drop down the folder list has returned to the top. LEAVE the “Move” drop down showing folder from the time it was used last. A lot of times, we receive an email then reply to it and want to move both emails to the same folder.…

Stop sending me suggestions for Japanese, Ukrainian dates. I'm ancient - and they're offensive. Disgusting in fact - almost as bad as the rubbish Google serves up. Yahoo is better than that.

Slow performance on chrome
Recently yahoo mail has become slow to the point it is unusable. This is observed with the most recent chrome update on Mac OS. This is observed on multiple different Macs that I own. Clearing cookies does not help. The "new" yahoo mail is even worse. I am able to use yahoo mail with Safari, but that is also fairly slow, but at least usable. Please see what the incompatibility is with the new chrome browser. thank you
