WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

    Where is the send button when you put a new email together. I had no notification that emails were going to be updated so had a panic attack when the mailbox would not allow me to sign in for 12 hours

  3. Dark mode and pasting text

    Hi, a limitation (bug?) with the dark mode, when pasting text into the mail, it is pasted as black font, leading to that it's difficult to read while composing the mail.

  4. subscription payment set up

    I have a yahoo account that was created in 2004 while i was in New York City. However, now i am in Mumbai, India. When i try to set up my auto debit payment for 200 GB/ month space, its not accepting my payment as there is no option to enter an India billing address and now i hold only 1 credit card with an Indian billing address. Please help me with this so i can maintain and operate my account smoothly.

    PS: There should be a chat or call option for helpline. Please share if i am missing anything…

  5. Make it possible to turn of AI summaries permanently

    I never want to see an AI summary of messages in my inbox. I wish there were a way to set my defaul as OFF for the summaries. It is frustrating and annoying and distracting to keep having to return to "settings" to turn the AI summaries off every few days.
    I want to read my messages as people write them, not as AI interprets them.

  7. Accept Invitations

    I never get the notices that I have been invited to a group after owners set them at my request.. Why is that? If yahoo blocks them then why not give that control to the individual to accept or deny

  8. Expand the number of blocked email addresses (spam)

    Please expand the number of blocked email addresses beyond 1,000. Spam email volume has increased and 1,000 is too limited. At least make available greater number of blocked addresses Yahoo Plus accounts. Thank you!

  9. Need to block scam advertisers from using your site.

    Need to block scam advertisers. Hilipert advertised a product (animals in acorns) and sent 2D cardboard **** instead. Now I can not get money back. Can you find CEO address, help stop their advertisements, and find ways to fine them?

  10. Show full subjects in subject line, and remove message previews from subject line

    In the list view of messages in your inbox, the subject line doesn't actually show the full subject. It truncates the subject so that it can fit a preview of the body of the email. Why? If I want to see a preview I'll look at the preview pane. I don't need a preview in the subject line, especially when it's at the expense of seeing the full subject. I've previously used Outlook and Comcast. Both of them showed the full subject in the subject line, as common sense suggests should be the case. Yahoo! really needs to do the…

  11. Do not show Unread messages from the Trash folder

    Do not show Unread messages from the Trash folder. They are there because they were already deemed useless. Ideally, show the unread messages in the currently selected folder only or give that as an option.

  12. There are no space to ask relevant questions. and your AI isn't smart enough to answer

    As I do not fit in the regular people style. How about managing my account with more options: For exemple: I do not save all messages, only for the time I need them. I would like to see this option available somewhere. And also to get read of advertising messages. There should be clear options to choose, with or without having to pay. Thanks

  14. Allow to create small mailing list groups

    It would be super helpful to create a group, like "Summer Vacation" or "coworkers" or "in-laws" and then add people to that group so later when I want to send an email (e.g. forward a photo from my phone I just took) to that group, I do not have to first save the photo, then look for the latest email to find the thread, then add the photo & send it, or manually add every recepient all over again, hoping that nobody is left out.   15. Restore the ability to move folders that have sub-folders

    I organise my holidays in folders. Each holiday has sub folders for flights\hotels etc. Once the holiday is done I want to move the whole folder to "Past Trips". I used to be able to do this but no longer can.

    Here's what I have to do.
    Create a new folder in past trips with a dummy name.
    Move each subfolder in the current trip to the new dummy folder.
    Move any mails in the main current trip folder to the new dummy folder.
    Delete the original folder.
    Rename the dummy folder the the name of the trip.

  16. Update "More on Yahoo" menu in Calendar to match the one in Mail

    Please update the "More on Yahoo" menu in the new version of Calendar to include icons next to the text (News, Finance, Sports, etc.), so that it matches the "More on Yahoo" menu that can be found when viewing messages in the new Yahoo Mail.

  17. Fix message hovers on Firefox, esp "Delete" (Trashcan) Icon

    After deleting a message with the trash can hover, the next message pops up. On Chrome, the trash can icon appears as expected. But on Firefox, you have to move the mouse out of the pane (either hover over another message, or move right to the preview pane and then back over the message. This makes deleting many messages in a row painful. It's a simple implementation bug, but worth fixing as Firefox is still a very popular browser.

  18. Adding email address to contacts

    I've tried, unsuccessfully, to add email addresses to my contacts I couldn't get them to SAVE, because I never saw a SAVE BUTTON. . It must be operator error, but I am wondering if this is a glitch in the new system and others are having the same difficulty?

  20. Fix the "recent emoticon" option.

    When I want to select an emoticon, the recent ones are not available. I have to type into the search to find the icons that I usually use. Why is the clock indicating "recent" not working?
    I did an experiment. I searched for two icons and saw the "recents" until I closed the icon selection box. When I opened it a second later, the recents were forgotten.
