WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Change the Grey Background of the Mail Boxes/Mail List back to White

    Hello,

    I’m writing to share feedback on a recent change to Yahoo Mail.

    I’m very disappointed that the message list background has changed to grey instead of white. I find it harder to read, visually duller, and more tiring on the eyes compared to the previous design. The white background felt clearer and offered better contrast for scanning messages quickly.

    While I’m generally fine with other recent updates to Yahoo Mail, this particular change has negatively affected my experience, and I really don’t like it at all.

    I wanted to ask whether Yahoo would consider changing the message list background…

  2. Attach photos to signatures.

    If there are multiple interaction on a topic the email chain display is horrible. Why can't we just all the interaction in the order.

  4. Re-instate email link

    I am very disappointed with the removal of linking email from my Yahoo email account to another email account. I was not aware of this feature removal and lost some business due to this change. This was a feature I relied upon.
    Request that this email linking feature be reinstated. Thank you.

  5. Yahoo Email display window layout

    The Yahoo email display doesn't make good use of the display area. Files, folders, contacts and calendars etc... all need to be hidden but pop-out displays and allow the user to utilise the email lists and the window of the contents of the email usefully. ie. email lists + a window for a selected email's contents.

  7. Too slow

    The speed of operation is extremely slow. Unusably slow. I type a message, I have to wait several seconds for the text to appear. Have to downgrade to the Basic version.

  8. Let us hide the contact list on the right of the screen that takes up so much space!!

    PLEASE let us hide the list of contacts on the right of the screen.
    This takes up so much room and I don't even use contact lists!

    It is now a very narrow inbox which is hard to read, especially for many disabled people with certain issues.

    This is truly a awful new look.

  10. Default text size and style

    Please! I set my default email composition size and font, and it does not work! This is a good typing example - too small to read comfortably! It always defaults to this size and style! I want bigger type!

  12. Collapsable Side Bar

    Please make the Starred/Contacts/Calendar/Notepad area a sidebar that can be collapsed. The current implementation takes up too much valuable space in the browser window.

    Using the dark theme the light grey highlight of new unopened mail doesn't stand out well . Maybe a blue would be better?

  17. Minimer afstand mellem mails i indbakken

    Det mest irriterende ved den nye visning er at der er for meget plads mellem de enkelte mails, så listen bliver trukket meget ud = man kan se meget få mails ad gangen. Mellemrummet kan snildt sættes til det halve, så man kan se flere mails på listen ad gangen.

  20. Dark mode and pasting text

    Hi, a limitation (bug?) with the dark mode, when pasting text into the mail, it is pasted as black font, leading to that it's difficult to read while composing the mail.
