2. automatic starring

   I would like certain emails always to be marked as priority. creating a rule for this would be helpful but even easier for me would be if i could star contacts so they are always marked as priority and i can sort by that or see them in the starred view at the top right or in my inbox view automatically and then maintain the remaining sort for the rest of the inbox. probably since you have the starred view this is good enough. Which by the way it would be nice (unless it does this already) to show only starred emails in the inbox, and i can do a search for starred messages in all folders. once i move a starred message to a folder, it's important still and i would to easily search it in the future but i don't want it to show in the starred box because for now at least i've dealt with it. thank you

3. My mail changes the language every time.

   I have set my language to english US, and every time I open my mail, the new version changes the language to spanish, so I ha ve to change it every time to english, its anoying that yahoo uses my location to change it to spanish, I speak english!

5. Allow me to use a filter to send messages to the last of my folders

   I just tried adding a filter to send certain messages to the last of my folders. I couldn't do it because the drop-down menu of my filters was cut off at the bottom by the bottom of the screen.
   ETA: I received a message that triggered the filter. It put a copy of the message in the folder I specified but also left it in Inbox.

6. Email this list button does NOT work. Tried several days since new format.

   Please fix this issue. I have to copy and paste a lot of emails daily since this function isn't working properly. Had no problem till you made this new format.

7. What happened to automatically categorized emails?

   I'm trying to understand what you changed, but with a recent update, now every email that I receive hits my "Primary" in box rather than auto-sorting to social, newsletter, etc. PLEASE, how do I get them to revert to the way it was? Thanks.

8. Printing bug in New Yahoo Mail – Windows system print dialog does not work Αντιγραφή

   The new Yahoo Mail interface has a printing bug that prevents users from printing emails through the Windows system print dialog.

   Steps to reproduce:

   Open an email in New Yahoo Mail.

   Select Print from the email menu.

   Chrome opens its built-in print preview, which works correctly.

   Select "Print using system dialog" (Ctrl+Shift+P).

   The temporary email print window disappears, and the Yahoo Mail inbox reappears in the background.

   Select a page and click Print.

   Result: Nothing happens. The document is not printed, and no error message appears.

   The same issue occurs when selecting Microsoft Print to PDF instead of the physical printer.

   This problem did not occur in the previous Yahoo Mail interface.

   System: Windows 11, Google Chrome, Canon MB5100 series printer.

   Chrome's built-in print preview is a workaround, but it does not provide access to all advanced printer driver settings.

   Please investigate and fix this issue so that users can print emails normally through the Windows system print dialog without having to save them as PDF files first.

9. This site is missing several important shortcuts

   1) Unable to only view one email in a group chat. Previously, we were able to minimize the back & forth conversations and only look at latest one or a specific one. Now it is not possible, it opens all of them, and requires massive time to scroll all down, and the breakdown of each email is very hard to see.
   2) Unable to start a new email by choosing someone's name from a previous email. Before, I could scroll the name & choose to send a new email to that person, instead of continuing on the group chat.
   3) All the colored initials NEED TO BE REMOVED. They are very distracting. I can't imagine a person with disability looking at this confusing site. It gives me headache while looking to my inbox.
   4) The unopened email is very hard to differentiate from opened one. The bold title, etc. is not strong enough and they all look the same.
   5) In viewing the emails, the photos or company logos are very large. Takes forever to find something.
   6) Finally, the new Yaho Mail is opening all the attachments in a new page on top of the mail. So it is hard to refer back and forth with the email content and attachment. Previously, the view option was opening on the right side and it did not cover any email content. Now we have to close it, go back to email, read more, then open the attachment again to check things. This was a very bad decision to change this option.
   7) Overall this New Yahoo Mail is HORRIBLE and UNFUNCTIONAL and will cause lots of health issues and stress to users.

10. Unread filter does work great

    When i click "unread" in the (...) it shows all unread meassage including ones in my "sent" folder. I only need to see my unread in the "inbox"

11. fix this bug

    Looking at a big inbox... you want to quickly select a bunch of messages (easy) and mark them all read (also easy), but then, you want to move on, and select a bunch more. In the old UI, after marking messages as read, they were deselected, so it was easy to move on to the next set. Now, the messages remain selected, so to not consider them again, you have to either unmark them all (a PITA), or select all, and deselect all using the 'all' marker at the top of the column (also a PITA). IMHO, this is a bug that should be fixed. Please fix it.

12. Make paper clip clickable

    The paper clip Icon in the email was clickable on the top of the emails. Clicking it took us to the attachment. THis feature is not there. If there are chain emails, we need to scroll all the way down to get to the attachment.
    Think about bringing that back, you dont want to lose something unique

    It was the one of the best things in Yahoo mail.

13. Long List of Searches but Can't Delete

    Please make it easy to delete old mail searches. There is no X when I highlight them or right-click so I have a list of about 20 and the most recent are way off to the right side. USELESS.

14. Restore Date-Based Email Grouping in New Yahoo Mail

    Please bring back the date-based email grouping feature from the previous Yahoo Mail interface. The ability to automatically group emails under headings such as Today, Yesterday, This Week, Last Week, and Earlier This Month made inbox navigation much more efficient. The current sorting options are helpful, but they do not provide the same usability as the grouped view. Please consider restoring this feature as an optional setting in New Yahoo Mail.

15. Why are you making me change? I need to see my mailboxes, not the folders

    I want my mailboxes and number of unread messages in each mailbox seen, it is most important. I do not use different folders, why is folders taking up all the space, I dont use folders. Now I will have to find a different inbox viewer to see my 10 mailboxes and stop paying for yahoo PLUS

16. Restore the Folder layout and provide an OFF buton for AI.

    Folders are where the emails are stored and it was easy to locate. AI interface is garbage for the people with half a brain and COMMON SENSE. TURN IT OFF. I AM SIGNED IN, THAT IS WHY I AM ANSWERING YOU "LEARN MORE" BUTTON.

17. With new Yahoo Mail, the folder list closes after I choose a folder. Could you make an option to keep the folder list permanently open?

    It is going to be much more convenient if Yahoo gives us an option to keep the folder list permanently open in the left pane in new Yahoo Mail.
    Please change back to old Yahoo Mail style for the folder list visible all the time.
    More convenient and easier with folder list visible all the time.
    By the way, I am using Yahoo Mail about 20 years. Please listen to your loyal customer.

18. fix the issues with moving emails

    I click on a list of emails and attempt to move them to a folder and they do not leave inbox.
    I am unable to sort by sender.

19. Display of email address instead of Real Name

    It is impossible to navigate the contact list when the same people has multiple email address, or Multiple people with the same name. It only display the person name, and THERE ARE NO WAY TO DIFFERENCIATE BETWEEN THEM. Please either change it or just let people use legacy mode
