Unfortunately, you cannot revert back. We are only making the new one better. We know change is frustrating and hard but we really hope you'll give the new layout a fair chance.


WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. Make message area larger or the font smaller or hide folders or somethingd

    Man the message is only a third of the page width! Folders one third and ads one third. Big Dumb ICONS And fonts are sooo LARGE. I get horizontal scrollbars. Little popups that say DELETE This is terrible!

  3. Left it like it was!

    Why can't y'all leave things that work alone, instead of changing things around! This is much more difficult to get to things! Why can't you let those of us that like it the way it was stay on the other format?

    Light is way too bright and Dark is way too dark. Have some kind of variable setting.

  5. It's hard to see what is Read and Undread on Dark Mode

    The read emails need to be a darker grey text to differentiate from the white bold text, right now I cannot tell at a first glance what is read and what is unread on Dark Mode desktop

    This new mail system is TERRIBLE! Nobody wants to single click a thousand messages!!!

    I Just want my email to work as it has for the past two decades, why must you redesign everything for no benefit other than rounding off any edges like you're afraid of corners?

    this new look is very nice but also very angering. If i only wanted to see some of my emails i just wouldnt look at them. when i log in i want all my mails to show up not just the once yahoo thinks i should see. if i feel i shouldnt be seeing something i can spam folder it or unsubscribe from it. if im in a hurry i dont want to have to click the see all just show me all of them. better yet give us the option to keep the old look and workings. it was…

  10. There are too many broken features

    The email layout feels intentionally broken, solely to encourage user feedback.
    Non-universal icons will have users playing a guessing game to find the function they want.
    There's plenty of white space yet there's not enough space to read messages

  11. Remove "Offers for You"

    There is already a big space for Ads at the right side. Why do you have to put "Offers for you" on top of each email body? It is eating up a lot of space and it's really annoying that the only way to remove it is by subscribing to Ad Free version.

  12. Bring back ability to expand email addresses in the "To" line

    This new design makes it IMPOSSIBLE to COPY an EMAIL ADDRESS. Previously, you could click on those ridiculous little bubbles to expand the email to show both the name and the full address (everything including the "@" sign). In this plain text format, you could COPY both the name and also the full email address.

    NOW - click on the ridiculous bubble, it opens a POP-UP. You cannot copy the contents of the pop-up. You CANNOT COPY EMAIL ADDRESSES. You can't drag them into the body of the email. You can "see" them, but not do a **** thing with…

  13. Stop asking about fingerprint or passkey sign in every time login

    Here we go AGAIN!!! Please STOP asking every time I sign in if I want to use fingerprint or passkey ID.

    You should have another choice of "do no ask this again"
    I use a desktop so cannot do fingerprint or face ID and it is shared with rest of family so using a passkey means my email is no longer private. So please do not begin to require this kind of sign in since it is impossible for some of us.
    Asking every time adds a step to login (very, very annoying) and I will NEVER say yes, so…

  16. Stop asking if I want notifications

    Don't just give me the option for you to ask again later. I will NEVER want notifications. I have notifications on my phone. I don't need it in my webbrowser ever. If I should want it, I will choose it. I don't need a periodic pop-up. This should be common sense.

  17. STOP CHANGING THE EMAIL

    For me yahoo had a superior email being the basic email. Don't force your stupid changes on everyone. If I wanted something different then I would have gone to your competitor and got a new email. You keep making these changes that most of us do not want. It is not more efficient or helps us but makes things more difficult with less needed functions as in the past. Stop screwing up something that was good !!

  18. Flexible appearance

    I can not see 4 panels: inbox, emails, preview, last - calendar, star, contacts. How do I remove this last panel? I want a bigger space for the preview. I cannot even expand it anymore like before.
