Bring back Yahoo icon on browser tab.
Before, I could scan my browser tabs and quickly identify my Yahoo! email, because it had the Yahoo! icon. Now there's some ghostly, barely-there outline of a stylized envelope? What's that about?? I have multiple email services - how do I know which one is Yahoo?????? Bring back Yahoo icon on browser tabs.

Bring back ability to re-size column widths of folders vs message list vs email content
Before, I could size the side-to-side width of the various elements - folder list, message list, and email. Now I can't. I can't read my email messages or compose them. Now my folder list takes up far too much space, most of empty ("white space"), while my messages are jammed into such a small space that it takes multiple scrolls to read even the most simple message. It is the actual EMAIL which should be given highest priority. The CONTENT. Bring back use control - let us decide how much screen space each element takes up. Let us re-size on…

Before your up date you could cut and paste with a picture that provides more understanding??
In your older email it stored little notes you could choose from several quotes to click on and auto fill one in the subject section.

Bring back "unexpand" messages in conversations
In long conversations, there can be dozens of posts - if EACH email is 4 lines high, then I can only see 2-3 at a time, instead of the 10-12 I could see previously. Bring back the ability to click on the header of the message to "unexpand" it to a SINGLE LINE. I don't need "message preview" when trying to find a specific message in a long conversation thread, what I need is the ability to see AS MANY of the emails as possible, so I can find the correct one I actually want to read.

Bring back "Mark as spam"
Why have the quick actions disappeared? One of the things I use most - "Mark as spam" is now hidden somewhere. Why? I don't "star" any of my email, why am I forced to have a feature I don't use? And lose one I use all the time? Let us CHOOSE which quick actions to have. If I want to "star" an email, I can do it on the message list, where it's been for over a decade.

Get rid of the little circles with initials
Why are there little circles EVERYWHERE? I don't need them. How does having a lot of 2-letter abbreviations help me read my email? I need to know the actual names of people, not some cutesy "aesthetic". Now I have to roll-over each email to get information I used to be able to see at a glance. Putting text inside graphics requires more cognitive energy to process. Why make me work this hard to read my email? GET RID OF THE CIRCLES.

Yahoo Mail composer
Hi! You’ve messed up the new interface. Here is the problem: When I set the interface to "dark mode," it looks great in the inbox. However, when I compose an email, the editor looks fine, but there’s a catch: even though the background in the editor appears dark gray, the actual email will have a white background! The recipient will receive an email with a white background. Since the background in my editor is dark gray, I might choose to write the email using white text. It looks fine to me—the white text is perfectly readable against the dark gray…

Make scroll bars visible, not hidden
Why are all the scroll bars hidden? There's these big spaces, for no reason, only to discover all that width is just to "hide" the scroll bar. make it visible so I don't have to guess where it is. Hiding it just causes accessibility problems and makes everything harder to use.

Bring back ability to size width for inbox vs message list vs read email
My folders now occupy 1/3 of the screen, even though the folder names are not that long, using a lot of unneeded space for no reason. Now my actual email messages are scrunched into 1/4 of the screen, when they used to be 1/3. And there's no way to resize the width of these things.

Sidebar Area
Please make the default for the sidebar on the right (shows icons for starred, settings, contacts, etc) be minimized instead of expanded. It takes up too much room on the screen. If it has to stay, please make the default minimized and not maximized.

Days and dates
The previous version of Yahoo separated emails by days of the week for the current week, then one section for the previous week, and one section for all older emails, all within the main inbox. Without that separation, the new inbox looks disorganized and cluttered. Put the day/week separations back.
Furthermore, stop forcing unnecessary changes on us when the previous version (like 2020/older) of Yahoo was perfectly fine as it was. Uncool.71st ranked -
Show me my folders without having to go to a dropdown
I do not like the new yahoo. I cannot find a way to view my folders on the left. I use them all the time. It is also easier to click and drag an email to a folder and now I can't seem to do that because all of the folders are hiding in a drop down. Hate it!

Bring back Blocking senders from Spam folder
The update doesn't allow you to block senders from the spam folder - sometimes legit stuff gets put in spam folder so I have to check it regularly and I block any Spam Emails I've received so I don't get them again in my spam folder at all.

Remove the margins which waste space on narrower devices; Allow 1st and 2nd columns to be made narrower
The new mail is now unusable on my MacBook Air. The area for mail content is way too narrow.

Space out the inbox by date, remove the bubble framing, return color options.
Space out and divide the inbox by date. Also remove the bubble frame. It looks ugly. Bring back color options as well.

Post as image
I can no longer attach files, and then select "Post as Image" to have the image shown, rather than be an attachment at the bottom of the page. Please resurrect this, as I could previously send an images, with a description of each image beneath.

new UI is unnecessarily clunky
the change to webmail UI requiring hover over the account button to see or select additional mailboxes is so thoughtless I am likely to discontinue my yahoo account entirely. Yahoo mail up till now was the best webmail client to add gmail and outlook mailboxes, login and see immediately what new messages I had in each box. the clunky dysfunction of the UI change has killed this advantage and made it a chore to use. I will not likely continue my yahoo account if this is the path forward.
