RESTORE MESSAGE FILTERING INTO FOLDERS AS BEFORE
Filtering incoming messages to folders has gone from a 2 second process into a nightmare. All I can see is that it will take a minute or more if I can figure out how to do it.

The icons at the top of the screen are not terribly intuitive, but if you have to use the two envelopes, then please keep them in the same place whether the user is on the Inbox screen or within a specific message. On both screens, the "Move" icon is directly to the left of the trash, but on the inbox, the "mark as read/unread" is to the right of the trash, while in the email message screen itself, that option is positioned two actions to the left of the trash. Put the filters back. You all let entirely too much spam through to not give us an option to at least make filters.

contrast for older eyes
I only see dark and light for contrast and reading. Some contrast are hard to see with older eyes. This is very difficult to look at.

Stop pretending your AI knows how to sort my mail
Please stop pretending your AI knows how to sort primary mail, offers, social, etc. It's really bad at it, and it just annoys me to have to keep switching to All mail every single time so I don't miss the things that actually matter. And stop requiring access to my profile just to pass along feedback.

Better Filter Options
When I filter, I would like to be able to filter by the folder that something is in. We used to be able to do that in the prior (better) version.
Secondly, a little bit ago I asked if we could have the ability to turn off the streak feature. And I was told that it is possible. But the streak symbol still shows up on the web version and on the app. And there is no button to turn it off.

Stop stuff like today's "Boo-tastic" pop up from popping up.
Recently a big square box has been appearing in the middle of my screen advertising, or whatever you call it, keeping my streak going. Give us a way to have that NOT appear.

Make filter settings easier as it was previously
In the previous version of Yahoo Mail, I could set filters up from my inbox from a dropdown menu and selecting "filter messages like this". Now I have to go into settings find the filter option, find the details of the message that are pertinent to creating a filter and proceed from there. It's much to cumbersome and is definitely not an improvement over what was available previously. Please return the previous functionality of the filter creation process.

messages cutoff on the rightbox
the messages now are bunched up so tight that I cannot read the sender name or the message. put an arrow on the right box so I can close it and open the messages wider so i can read them without having to open each one of them .

I want to write emails the way I alway do
Your new system makes me respond to emails at the bottom. I want to do as I always have, the top! I like to see the most recent and current correspondence at the top. NOT the bottom

Get spam filters working
I’ve received 10 sexually explicit emails in my inbox, not in my spam folder. I’ve labeled these spam for the last week. No change. Please help, or I will need to delete Yahoo Mail

allow option for previous version which included blocking sender
I would prefer to be able to block sender.
I find the new version awkward but suspect I can adjust to it eventually although I think there may be at least one bug as the background changed to black without any obvious action and finding the previous text too a couple of mins.71st ranked -

Fix the screen layout
The new layout gives less space for the previews of the messages so I can't actually read the emails in preview as I could before and can't reach the links, as I could before.

HIGHTLIGHT THE NEW EMAILS! VS THE OLD ONES FOR START!
I HATE!!!! IT!!!! you cant see the highlighted new emails!!! vs the old ones you cant check of what you have already read! ITS TERRIBLE!!!! WT EFFFFFF would you not make it a option to not use the old one? What a JOKE! this new version is NOT near as user friendly!

Tab should indent text not move to the next button
Tab key is moving to other sections of the screen. Twice I have hit tab to intent a line and must have moved to the send button. I accidentally sent 2 emails in the process of being written.

Bring Back Search Capabilities
You made the desktop application similar to the mobile app in terms of the search functionality. It's annoying, not helpful, and defeats the purpose of organizing emails into folders if you can't search each folder individually, or filter by folder. Please bring back that feature.
