why do I have to keep signing in to the new yahoo and doing the verification code.?
Nothing has changed on my PC for many years and I had no problem with the old Yahoo mail now the new one keeps making me sign in again with verification code. Nothing has changed on my pc and I did not have this problem with the old yahoo mail. I have been using yahoo for over 20 years but I am now getting sick of the whole new yahoo mail system

Off switch for streak popups
Streak popups need a way to turn them OFF. Somewhere in settings, or on the actual popups - instead of just "look at your progress", how about another button saying "shut up about streaks"? Ideally both.
This is really irritating every time I check my mail, and it's appalling that there's no way to opt out.

Turn Off the Keyboard Shortcuts
Turn off the keyboard shortcuts in the new Yahoo Mail Plus. Who asked for these? Especially any shortcut using the 'Shift' key. Who thought it would be a good idea to implement a shortcut with the shift key? I can't write one sentence in the new Yahoo Mail Plus without being bounced around to another mailbox or my email doing odd things.

Features that appear to have been removed in the new version
1, I still get emails where part of the message / graphics are hidden behind the vertical add banner with no way to see the entire email. The slider at the bottom doesn't allow the whole email to be seen or screen captured as one and there is currently no way to slide the banner to one side, as was possible previously. This is a step backwards and offers users less functionality.
2. Previously, I could star and mark as unread, multiple emails simply by selecting them in the left side menu. This made more urgent emails or ones I…71st ranked -
Attach from recent emails
Where is Attach from Recent Emails? I use that often to attach photos to friends that I have emailed to myself. Now it's not there anymore. Now I have to save the photo to a file on my computer so I can access that to attach to email. That's an extra step for me.

Remove the Unsubscribe that floats over the subject
The Unsubscribe button gets in the way of reading the subject of email on the main email list. Remove it! Move it under the MORE ... shortcuts. Plus it is the page when I'm reading the email.

VERY DIFFICULT TO NAVIGATE AND SEND ATTACHMENTS. CONFUSING WHEN YOU PUT ALL EMAILS FROM SAME PERSON WHEN WE ONLY NEED THE MOST RECENT.

New Yahoo inbox is appalling
The new Yahoo inbox is ugly, and difficult to read.
Why do you have to continually mess around with the look whilst fixing nothing else?
Why not give us the USERS the option to choose which look suits us best?
Stop messing us around!

expand width of inbox
The width of the inbox is way too narrow. Please make wider. I minimized stuff on the left but it did NOTHING to improve the narrow problem. Horrible design change. Not a fan. I'll try to give it some time but heavily considering switching to gmail.

Collapse the righthand column
On desktop, the righthand column (Calendar, Starred, Contacts, Settings) takes up so much space, especially in a narrow browser window, that having the side-by-side message layout is basically unusable now. The message window is so narrow that many of my messages don't fit and have to side scroll, which is not ideal for reading. I never use the options in the righthand column, so there's just a big empty space that might as well be used for the message window. Collapse these icons when they're not being used, or even better: move them to the left column with everything else.

Orginal is superior.
Why can't we keep the original layout. You ARE NOT improving it. I'll be transitioning out of Yahoo -- pretty sad been using yahoo email since the 90's!

Allow users to search INBOX only
Why cant I search INBOX only. Your new and NOT improved search function pulls up emails from inbox and folders in search despite me only wanting to search inbox. How can your company ***** up like this???

Have a basic/fallback client
Forcing the use of a feature incomplete browser is crazy, and then actively disabling the fallback is certifiably the dumbest thing I've ever seen. So despite having my primary e-mail here for decades, I'm investigating moving to another e-mail provider. This is Microsoft levels of incompetence.

Separators for day, week, month
It was easier to see what emails were received today, yesterday, earlier by month, etc. Now its all lumped together making it harder to tell whats new, or to locate an older email you need to look at

The old format was better. We could check 2 email accounts without jumping through hoops to get from one to the other.
Cox threw us under the bus when the sold out to yahoo and it only gets worse! Guess I'm too old for these

Keep "Select All" option for inbox always visable.
I cannot understand the reasoning why this basic feature was done away with. This is the reason I switched back to Basic Yahoo Mail. Now in order to select all of my emails I have to click the box next to an email to access the option for "select all" emails to be available. This has added an extra click/interaction cost that is absolutely unnecessary and has actively worsened the usability of Yahoo Mail. Please update this to allow this option to always be available.
