TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. Get rid of progress streaks and achievements

    Progress streaks and achievements, under the lightning bolt icon, are expected in games but seem strangely out of place in mail, which I'm using professionally. I've toggled off the "Get progress updates" setting so it's not a distraction, but just the presence of the icon is a reminder that my business mail has been gamified.

  2. deleting emails now annoying and time waster

    can i just click the trash button to delete? why is this now gone? this is why i liked yahoo. because i didn't have to select every individual email to delete

    Please switch me back to yahoo basic. All was perfect until you switched me to this idiocy. What's the point to have a loyal, longtime customer suffer through this slow, cluttered nonsense. Greed, that's the reason. Please switch me back to yahoo basic, I don't need this, I really don't. Please switch me back to yahoo basic.

  7. THE NEW OUTLOOK OF YAHOO

    I don't like the new outlook of Yahoo Mail. I tried to go back to the old one but it isn't possible
    I don't have in the Settings the Switch to Basic Mail option.
    If there is another possibility I would appreciate your help

  8. Adjust the flat color new design blends read and unread emails together.

    I have been a loyal user for years, but the new flat design blends read and unread emails together, strains my eyes, I really don't want to stop using this account. Is there going to be any changes concerning to this issue?

    I am very frustrated with the new yahoo mail and not being able to go back to the older version.
    The format and look of the new yahoo is not easy to find and see the emails.
    Please make the decision to the customers how to change to the new format,

  11. Bring standard mail back

    This transition to new yahoo email has been aweful... some many clicks to have to do basic tasks like click and drag emails to folders. I was able to make it work with Standard Yahoo email... now with the only option of Basic and "new Yahoo mail"... I am thinking ot making a full shift to another email and dropping my yahoo emails that don't have the Standard email option anymore. This was a horrible change.

  13. Remove Giant Brand/District Logo Headers (BIMI)

    Please remove the giant logo headers (BIMI). They are huge and it clutters the reading view. Please add a toggle to disable them or make them as small as the rest of the text. Thank you!

  16. FIX MESSED UP DELETE ALL OPTION

    CURRENTLY WHEN I DELETE ALOT OF EMAILS IN VERIOUS FOLDERS I PICK DELETE ALL AND.... IT ONLY DELETES 30 BUT SAYS ALL DELETED. I MUST GET OUT OF YAHOO THEN BACK IN TO PICK DELETE ALL AND IT ONLY DELETES 30 AGAIN. OBVIOUSLY A SYSTEM ERROR.

  17. bring back alphabatize

    why did you remove the ability to alphabetize. stupid move and inconvenient for users. i am going to have to start using another email this no longer works for me.

  18. Rework your screwed up 'spellcheck'...it is making stupid errors...most annoying!!!

    Your 'spellcheck' is compromised and keeps flagging correctly spelled words or names...rework your algorithms or something...most annoying!
