WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  2. Oh it isn't an idea IT IS AN ISSUE

    First there is nothing on your help.yahoo.com page that helps with the problem I have . Second if we keep being forced to change p@sswords every two days we will quit your platform as it is becoming unsatisfactory . You want to improve , stop making people change their p@sswords every two days .

  5. Search is slow

    When moving an email from inbox to another folder, the search feature is very very slow which results in the search results ( in this case folders ) not matching the search criteria.

  6. I never got as much SPAM and SEX FILTH as I do with Yahoo, I am sorry Cox sold out to you. AI should not be into my emails

    Your AI writing to me about what my personal emails are about is horrific. BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING ME???? remember the movie '1984'. You have no right to be reading and commenting on my personal emails. It might be worth my time changing to something else even though it will take me hours to change my address on all the sites I use medical, shopping, people, news etc. I never liked Yahoo from day one after Cox and it's getting worse.........too much **** in my mail box and an invasion of privacy.

    Why has my mail been seized since 15th May 2026? I am unable to receive any mail in my inbox, and my mail box has less than 13GB of space

    I have all my email accounts forwarded automatically to one central address, but I don't see a way to do that with Yahoo.

  10. MFA Push is Complete Junk

    I would happily re-enable MFA, but you idiots are making me log in every single time I switch accounts. WTF is wrong with security people these days? I am obviously connecting from the SAME IP and SAME BROWSER I did 10 minutes ago, so why the non-stop MFA prompts when it is obviously me? I have had these accounts for decades and ever since Verizon bought this, they have continued to make it crappier and crappier, with unneeded security and useless AI in the way constantly.

  12. the memory restriction now causing lot of issues, wont allow me to delete folder specific emails

    My email has stopped working for the last few days. Unfortunately, the issues with your service are making it very difficult for me to continue using Yahoo, and it is forcing me to consider moving everything to Gmail.

    If I am unable to delete bulk emails, how am I supposed to free up storage space? Please prioritise fixing these basic features so users can properly manage their accounts.

  13. More EMAILS on screen

    Get rid of side column for starred, etc - or at least give an option to minimize the space it takes up on the screen.
    Bring back narrow rows so I can see more emails on the screen at once.
    Or make old yahoo mail visually customizable again.

    Whenever I need to log into something that requires a code to get into Yahoo is the SLOWEST email I have. Google instant, hotmail instant yahoo 15 minutes later still waiting...

  16. I there no way to sort mails to most recent at the top in the conversation view ?

    Currently a chain mail in conversation mode in Inbox shows mail in the order of older (at the top) to recent at the bottom.
    This needs unnecessary & uncomfy scrolling !!

    Can't you fix it to be seen as new on the top and older ones at the bottom (in the same conversation view).

    I am an old patroniser of Yahoo mail & will feel sad to leave it OR move to another email app

    I want the free 20 GB storage, why am I forced to 15 Gb? I one message received on Thu, May 7 at 6:24 PM, If I click on " Explore options.", I get a screen with 3 options of plans: for 20 GB (free), 100 GB or 1TB (with payment). I want for now 20 GB free. Why is this message if I can not acces the options. Has Yahoo started to provide fake information?
