TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  2. the new design

    I don't know who decided this new layout, and who decided an end user can not go back to the "classic" view. Who ever made this discission need to be let go. I know no real eyes will ever look at this, but i feel better putting this out there.

  4. Why do I need to do another click to get to my folders?

    Put the folders back to being visible. Yahoo is getting more complicated and nowhere near as good as it was before you made these changes (the cosmetic stuff with all the mauve nonsense)

  5. Don't change the interface without notifying the user - I can't find where I can set the sort order

    I don't know if you are intent on ******* off your users, but count me as one of those who hate this interface.

    What do I like about the new Yahoo Maile, NOTHING! It's added time to what I do, numerous steps were added as well, it's bland and unappealing. I WANT THE OLD YAHOO BACK!!!!!!

  11. unwanted, unabled to delete emails.

    unsolicited email no way to stop them. They don't have that option on their emails. When you contact the company they act like they cannot hear you and hang up!
    This is one of many. "Erie Home Roofing" why is this being allowed.

    The new Yahoo Mail interface is heavy with dynamic ads, scripts, and auto-loading previews that cause jerky or lagging scrolling on your screen. GO BACK TO THE OLD YAHOO EMAIL.

  15. HOW about LETTING Customers have the OPTION in what FORMAT they want to have

    I am HIGHLY UPSET that I was not ALLOWED to switch back the orignal format of yahoo mail...and WORST... yahoo JUST switch it without informing me... BAD VERY BAD BUSINESS PRATICE!!! I want the OLD and BEST format back...I HATE and I know HATE Is a strong word..but I HATE this so called NEW YAHOO format... it is TERRIBLE!!!!!

  16. Need more space for reading email text!

    So frustrating how small the reading area for email text when reading on my laptop. I cannot read an email without having to constantly scroll around. I wish could remove or minimize the box on the right side that currently has my Starred messages, and expand the window for email text. Please help!!

  17. trying to find stationary to use on my emails

    I searched how to find stationary for my emails. Directions I find don't work on my account. Please help. Either let me know that it is not available or how to find an app or source on my email. Also, I would like to remove the items on the far right to widen my screen. How do I do that?

    I would like to go back to the older style of email. Plus, I can't navigate many of the features as I don't understand the wording. The way the pictures load is impossible. Windows was better all around.

  19. Complaint about Yahoo Mail app search function

    Hello, the search function in Yahoo Mail app is terrible. If I search for a term such as "Amazon receipt", the search function instead pulls up ALL "Amazon" emails and all "receipt emails". So instead of finding Amazon receipts, I instead get piled with all Amazon emails such as ads and all receipts from non-Amazon senders.

    This is really annoying and I'm seriously considering deleting the Yahoo Mail app. The computer website does not have this issue tho.

  20. Give back the old email

    I like things about this new email, like having the different categories that helps delete stuff easily. However, it does not give me all my emails like I have on my phone. There are some emails that I am not getting that I really need. I would prefer the old email.
