TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. Allow users to place a "lock" on emails they want to keep from deleting

    I'd like to see email users have an option to "lock in" an email so that they don't delete it by mistake (and not notice it until it's too late). It would be similar to the "*" option, with a specific action to take to ensure that really important emails aren't deleted. When the user wanted to move the email to a folder or even delete it, he or she would have to disengage the lock "button".

  3. Ability to change font to away from tiny

    Somehow the font in my email changed to tiny. I cannot change it away to medium or large from the writing email tab. When I hit the click on the tiny dropdown I don't get any options to change to. I've tried using "ctrl0" and "ctrl +" but to no avail.

    All of a sudden, my folders are gone. I had a "Verisk" folder and several others. Where are they?!?!

  10. I cannot scroll my inbox in the new mail

    There is a scroll bar appearing only once in while. Most of the time it is not there, and I have to use my touch screen to scroll my inbox. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!! Also, I do not have the option to return to classic mail. I looked in Yahoo help and I do not have the option "Go back to the old Yahoo Mail". Also, when I try to contact support, I cannot. My only option is to send "feedback" as I am doing now.

  11. Sunday-Saturday Filter

    Currently, all the emails are just one write after the other. I would love to see filters for various divisions, such as what day of the week the email came through. Seeing all the emails one write after the other is very overwhelming and difficult to go through. Perhaps have a filter to group emails by people/organizations. It helps me to know which day of the week an email comes through.

  13. Taboola is Giving my Grandma Scam Ads in Her Mailbox

    I have also reported this problem to Taboola, but there have been multiple times now where the ad at the top of her inbox has taken her to a fraudulent/scam website. This is unacceptable. Yahoo, you must know who your advertisers are. They create ad messages that look like Yahoo message update notifications and when you click on them they take you to an API website before sending you to another site that locks up your screen and demands your personal data. I'm not complaining about the fact that there are ads in my grandma's email, I'm complaining that those…

  14. The right-hand sidebar really needs to go away/disappear

    I'm sorry to whoever designed the inbox but the right-hand sidebar is the most pointless feature and also really badly implemented. The fact that 25% of the screen space is taken up by this literal junk is crazy. It cannot be stated enough how terrible the sidebar is. I've tried ways to remove it from my filters and webpage source code but any fixes are not permanent or break the system.

    Please remove or at least add an option to remove this waste of space.

  15. CRITICAL BUG: New emails disappear after being read

    This is a TECHNICAL BUG in the New Yahoo Mail, not a feature request.

    New incoming emails appear in my UNREAD folder/view, but they do NOT appear in my INBOX.

    When I open one of these emails, it is marked as Read and therefore disappears from the Unread view. Because the email never appeared in my Inbox, I can no longer locate or access it after reading it.

    Reproducible sequence:

    New email arrives.
    Email appears in Unread.
    Email does NOT appear in Inbox.
    I open/read the email.
    It disappears from Unread.

  16. So slow it is unusable

    This update continues to be unbearably slow. It's gotten worse over the last few days rather than better. Even the browser occasionally puts up a "Page Unresponsive" dialog box. Anywhere else I go on the internet is just fine, so it's not the internet connection. FIX IT OR ALLOW US TO REVERT. THIS IS UNUSABLE.

    URGENT TECHNICAL PROBLEM: Yahoo mail recently changed the mail format and it has a serious technical problem. My new emails go into my Unread folder but NOT in my Inbox. I cannot move them to my Inbox. When I read them, they disappear entirely from my mail, so I cannot Save them, because they are GONE! I've tried repeatedly to contact @YahooCare on X but they ignore my messages! I sent print screens that I shared in a Private Message, but YahooCare will NOT respond!   19. save my preferred layout as the default

    Please allow users to save their preferred screen layout. When Yahoo Mail opens a split-screen panel for features such as Starred messages, Settings, or Calendar, I can close or change the panel, but Yahoo later reverts to the split-screen layout. Please provide an option to save my preferred layout as the default so Yahoo Mail opens the way I last selected it.
