TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. need old email back

    Something happened today--I was sending out hundreds of promotional emails for my new novel, then something happened--nothing was sent out--in draft status now, and I can't send anything out. Nothing works, and I lost valuable information. Help me. Can't get any help from Yahoo. 715-496-1529 or email jgbooks@myyahoo.com

    if OLD VERSION EMAILS is not installed, I will opt out of YAHOO, and choose a DIFFERENT Provider for HOME PAGE !!!

  4. Pin mailboxes to side.

    Please go back to having the option to pin other mailboxes to the side. To go down and then click through each is annoying and inconvenient. Also, can you add an option to turn off the icons of the senders?

  5. Spam Filtering Issues

    A number of important emails are being filtered to my spam, despite ongoing correspondance with a number of these email addresses. You need to offer an option to 'turn off spam filtering' as it's constantly putting emails into spam that shouldn't be.

  6. you suck

    The right window in email takes 1/3 of the screen. The actual email that I wish to view takes 1/3 of the screen.
    The email should be 9/10 of the screen! You did this on purpose. You suck. There is no option to switch to classic view. No option to switch to basic view.

    The "new and improved" yahoo sucks. I wish whoever decided to do it and whoever coded it to be fired.

    give us the choice to go back to the old yahoo mail. this one is horrific.

  8. Give back Hotmail in the mailbox

    I previously gave feedback that we need Gmail login available in mailbox, I meant to say Hotmail. We need Hotmail back in Yahoo mailbox in order to conduct our business.

  9. Give back the Basic Mail version and allow Gmail to be added to mailbox

    We HATE the new version of Yahoo Mail, it is not user friendly and we cannot complete our business as we should. It takes more time to do anything than ever before. Especially toggling between emails in the mailbox.
    We need the option to switch back to Basic Mail which was taken away from us.
    Also, we need to have Gmail back in the mailbox in order to conduct our business.

  10. deleting or trashing ads

    Those ads in the inbox are distracting and hinder segregating. Once read I need a way to trash them.

  12. Kill Tab to Send

    I have had this account for years and have accidentally sent too many emails in the last week because I use the Tab key during email drafting. Why all of a sudden is this happening? What 'upgrade' occurred? How can I have a send delay added to my account so I can recall the half drafted emails that all of a sudden are sending themselves.

    Stop tinkering with my email drafting and viewing functions generally.

  14. Give me option to hide the right side panel

    Give me option to hide the panel with 'Starred' and 'Contacts' options on the right side. It takes up the whole real estate and doesn't allow to view emails properly.

  15. Bring back classic view

    Bring back the classic view of yahoo. The new version sucks and it's very hard to see what is a new email and what isn't amidst other things. Just let us go back to classic view!

  16. I would like for it to go back to the old version and you do not give me that option.

    I don't need it upgraded when it was not broke to begin with. Please give me the option to go back to old version! The new version has to much stuff on it! I dont need flashy

  18. don't switch stuff without user choosing to change to the updates, not all like this new look

    when one of you comes up with an idea, let the user choose to check box it, if the user likes it, do NOT automatically switch the users displays, features,...........

    I hate the new look, cant see stuff on the screen now, due to where I sit in my office, I have to rearrange my office to be able to use yahoo or stop using yahoo. Please switch back ASAP

  20. proper localization

    Sorry, but your localization sucks. For years when I am going to log in, I am getting the login text in Slovenian language which I do not understand a word. To understand where to click I ALWAYS have to fix "sl" to en or sk, to understand the text. Which is very dubious because it correctly states that I am from SK. Dear Yahoo, you had 33 years to learn a difference between Slovakia and Slovenia.
