After replying New Mail takes you to the top of your Inbox
Another issue with New Mail vs Classic Yahoo Mail.....
You reply to an email from a few weeks ago, and after you click "send", you are taken back to the top of your Inbox rather than right where that email was at from a few weeks ago.
You then have to scroll, scroll, scroll, to get back down to find that email you replied to in order to move it to a folder, delete it, or something else.
With Classic Yahoo Mail - it takes you right back to that email and date-range, after you reply and hit 'send'.61st ranked -

I would like to be able to see all the folders without having to navigate. I used to be able to scroll down through all the available folders

Why can't I open email attachments on the mobile app after updating to the new version of Yahoo Mail?
After updating to the latest version of the Yahoo Mail app on my iPhone, I can no longer open email attachments. It displays a notification saying: "UNABLE TO PREVIEW, UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD THIS ATTACHMENT, PLEASE TRY AGAIN." I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app, as well as logging out and logging back in numerous times; however, it only works briefly—showing the old interface and allowing me to open files—before switching to the new interface, at which point I can no longer open attachments.

Restore the large-smaller option when adding a picture (not an attachment)
Just RESTORE the picture option of larger - smaller...it worked just fine!!!
The present format is regressive stupidity and takes us back to stupid times!

It has way too many clicks to do the same thing the old system did in one click
How do I get back to the old system. This new one is very hard to use with lots more clicks to get where I want to go

Stop messing with the format. It was fine the way it was. Important emails lost, thanks to your meddling with the format. STOP. Just STOP.
Go back to previous version. If Windows can offer that, certainly Yahoo can.

stuck tooltips
Hi the Mail Plus web client has but where pop-up tooltips do not disappear and remain "stuck" on the screen.
When I mouse over folders in the left column, sometimes the tooltip doesn't disappear so I have leftover tips on my screen.I captured a screenshot showing the stuck tooltips:

put search on the right AFTER reading the thing to search for
The /n ( https://mail.yahoo.com/n ) new Yahoo email presentation on 2026-08-27 shows email sender with the serch on the left, this is counter intuitive, we read left-to-right, so I will read the sender's name first, then, moving to the right, I expect to control what I just read and comprehended. To go back to the left to find and click the search is backwards, literally, and the mouse then obscrurs the name of the person I might be looking to search for, so I have to move the mouse away, conrirm I'm on the right line, then move the mouse…

scaling to fit
Hello. Sadly, I do not like the new layout, primarily because it doesn't fit my 17" HP laptop screen anymore. I don't know if scaling is adjustable, but the header on the inbox is so tall, I cannot see enough mails in the list at once, NOR can I read more than a single line of an open mail without trying to scroll down to see it -- and the scroll on this machine is too fast to be that precise. I don't have the time or knowledge to change any of this. PLEASE let me "go back"!

Allow for Bulk Deletion of Old Unread Emails
Please allow for bulk deleting. If I search for all unread messages older than 1/1/2020, for instance, I will get over 59,000 messages!! If I then select all of those messages and try to delete them your system will not delete them. This is nuts!! Why can't you make this happen?

Need to turn off the Big Round Dots with Bright Colors due to sensory overload
Next to each small blue dot is a Big Round Colorful Dot before each sender's name, and I don't think these BIG dots can be turned off. Their BIG size and bright color make it very difficult to look at for people like me who are prone to sensory overload. They make me feel dizzy almost immediately and hard to concentrate, and as a result, I become irritable, anxious and unable to concentrate. This is a medical condition in both adults and young adults.

If you want to force a new layout on people at least give them the ability to change fonts. I hate this new look - I find it hard to read. Thanks for nothing.

Keep the older picture size option...larger or smaller...did you hide it somewhere?
The old version would let me use a smaller or larger picture...an option upper rt. corner of pic...

Can not restore accidentally deleted Email
I am writing to express my extreme frustration with a severe design flaw in Yahoo Mail.I accidentally deleted a draft, and your system completely wiped out my entire associated email chain. To make matters worse, the email trail is completely missing from my Trash, Spam, and Sent folders. It has vanished entirely. Potential Searching Issue
I was looking for an email by searching for the Subject's name. The email contained a subject that container "Flow". I searched for "Flow" and "flow" but it did not show. I had to instead guess the content of the body in order to find the email.

Disable or MOVE delete confirmation
When configured to auto advance to next unread mail in list layout, the delete confirmation covers the toolbar, forcing the user to dismiss it before being able to delete the now current email. This is excruciatingly painful when trying to power through a bunch of mail.
