WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  2. Restore the Folder layout and provide an OFF buton for AI.

    Folders are where the emails are stored and it was easy to locate. AI interface is garbage for the people with half a brain and COMMON SENSE. TURN IT OFF. I AM SIGNED IN, THAT IS WHY I AM ANSWERING YOU "LEARN MORE" BUTTON.

  3. Different colors for email that has been read.

    I noticed that in the "Apperence" setting, there is a dark mode. I like that better. BUT, when I'm looking at mail, there doesn't seem to be a difference in the color of the line item. I can barely see that the text isn't bold, like on unread mail.
    If you could make the whole line, not just the text, different, that would be better. Maybe give the ability to change read email to a different color.

  4. With new Yahoo Mail, the folder list closes after I choose a folder. Could you make an option to keep the folder list permanently open?

    It is going to be much more convenient if Yahoo gives us an option to keep the folder list permanently open in the left pane in new Yahoo Mail.
    Please change back to old Yahoo Mail style for the folder list visible all the time.
    More convenient and easier with folder list visible all the time.
    By the way, I am using Yahoo Mail about 20 years. Please listen to your loyal customer.

  5. do not want avatars in front of my emails. at least make choice to use check boxes

    I do not like avatars. It is distracting and takes up space. I want less space so please give users compact view choice!!!!!! I hate it, and i mean I really hate it. I like gmail better and may have to start using that one and stop my yahoo plus because I don't like the format. If you want to update it fine but leave the options if people don't like you new and improved stupid layouts. I have work to do and just want my email not fancy things you want to play with!!!

  6. fix the issues with moving emails

    I click on a list of emails and attempt to move them to a folder and they do not leave inbox.
    I am unable to sort by sender.
    this is ****. I do not see the point of this and I want the old format back

  7. Display of email address instead of Real Name

    It is impossible to navigate the contact list when the same people has multiple email address, or Multiple people with the same name. It only display the person name, and THERE ARE NO WAY TO DIFFERENCIATE BETWEEN THEM. Please either change it or just let people use legacy mode

  9. Fix these already!

    Fix this thing already it is broken since you have changed the UI

    White font on white background and dark font on dark background!

    inverting email background in dark mode which makes the email unreadable!

    Remove the large Blocked images warning from top of every single email! I already know it is blocked, even a tiny link would work, didn't need a alert that takes 30% of the screen!

  10. external image suppression

    Hi.
    Under "Show images in messages," I click "Ask before showing external images," but it repeatedly reverts to "Show images in messages, Always, except in spam folder."

    It should keep my setting.

  12. Email List button - fix

    I was switched over to the new yahoo mail and am finding that when I
    am sending email using an "email list" the button stating "email this list" is not loading
    the email address in the address line...
    The chatbot told me to type in the name of the list - which worked but why is this not working?
    This "new yahoo" has been out for a long time - I went back to the old system because I did not like
    many things about it and now I am finding this bug... besides the fact that the color selections…

  13. Sent Folder - Mass Actions

    I'm trying to clean up my sent folder. There is no way to select multiple messages and do a mass action on them such as delete, move, archive, mark read/unread. You have to do them one message at a time. Bring back all of the action buttons that used to be at the top and also the select all messages checkbox. I don't know why these aren't there. Should be at least consistent with the other folders especially because the sent folder is one of the main folders in any email app.

  14. Fix crash loop on new interface when hovering over order confirmations

    My account was updated to the new Yahoo Mail interface. There is a critical rendering crash on the main inbox page. Every time my mouse cursor hovers over an online order confirmation email in my list, the entire inbox crashes instantly and redirects to the purple error screen stating "Yahoo Mail has encountered a problem."

    This happens even in Incognito mode, but the same email opens perfectly fine on the Yahoo Mail mobile app. The issue is tied to how the new desktop web interface pre-fetches the automated code layout of order receipts on mouse hover. Please implement error handling…

  16. Fatal Error: Emailing from lists is not functional

    I've tried several times to email to a list saved in contacts (before the upgrade). What am I doing wrong?

    I open a new email. Select the list from contacts. (made sure the cursor was in TO field and click the Email this List button, but the TO field (or the CC or BCC fields do not get populated.

  17. Attaching a document repositions the screen to an unusable position

    When attaching a document to an email, after the selection popup closes, the entire window reformats such that 90% of the emails and menus are above the top of the screen and cannot be scrolled into view. only the very bottom of the email body window, the attach/send/save draft controls, and the very bottom of the folder tree is visible in the top 10% of the pane. It is not scrollable, so there is no way to bring it into view. The only fix is refreshing the tab and re-opening the draft email.

  18. Change the Calendar format

    I'm a Yahoo user in Australia, and in Australia our calendar format is day/month/year but you have an Amercanised calendar format which has month/day/year and is very confusing. Can you please use an Australian Calendar format for Yahoo in Australia?
