Yahoo Calendar View is set to weekly view cannot get it back to monthly view
The Yahoo Calendar is now defaulting to weekly view rather than monthly view, which I have had for years. I can't find a way to get it back including clearing cache, please help

Allow users to delete obsolete contacts
When sending an email, given a few characters, Yahoo Mail will prompt you with the addresses of up to six old contact addresses that match those characters. The problem is that those old addresses can include dead relatives, ex-partners, enemies, spam email addresses, and so on. Please allow users to delete those obsolete addresses.

calendar view changes
As of today, November 8, 2025, I have a new calendar design which I find hard to read. I want to go back to the old design. al7id@yahoo.com

Also I want to have the default view to be monthly and just recently it is coming up as weekly every time and I have to change it to what I want.

I lost access to my Yahoo email account. I found lots of information that discussed losing access to your Yahoo email account at yahoo.uservoice.com, but there was no advice on that page for the topic of losing access to your Yahoo email account because you have not logged in for a long time. When I try to log in, the message states, "This account has been deactivated due to inactivity". I tried many help categories under "contact us", but none were applicable. Therefore, I recommend that this topic be addressed on that page. Thank you.

Make the inbox page be able to be logged off of again like it was a few days ago and before
I was on the "old yahoo" format when I clicked on the option that brought me to this page and my comment pertains to old yahoo accordingly, not "new yahoo" as you are asking about here. Why on old yahoo are the settings not allowing a "black background & with white lettering" as is set on new yahoo?

I've set my browser's GDP setting. Please stop nagging me to change it
It's Yahoo's preference to send me unwanted, unnecessary, senseless and irrelevant ads, and then share my personal information with the trolls that originate those ads
It is my preference--set in my GDP setting--not to receive those ads and not to have my information shared.
I'm an adult. I can make up my own mind and keeping my GDP setting is my choice.
Please stop nagging me to change it.

Setting up email in Microsoft Outlook for a non-@Yahoo email address causes errors
I have an @Cox.net email account. Yahoo took over management of the Cox servers about a year ago. I use the Outlook client for email on my Windows PC and on my Android phone. There has been a recent udate to the Android program that required me to reauthenticate my password. When I did it gave me an error. Yahoo support didn't know how to fix the issue.

Please allow for Undo Send on Desktop. Other clients do this, and it's more useful than you would suspect. The lack of this alone is giving me reasons not to use Yahoo Mail.

Add a Check-box option to delete emails by 'YEAR'
Since you have reduced the storage capacity of our mailboxes from unlimited (originally) to the new storage leve, I have tried to delete. But I would like to see you program in a feature instead of 'All' button, A check-box OPTION TO ALLOW FOR 2024 OR EARLIER to be deleted as a GROUP, without deleting the RECENT emails from this same sender.
Currently, the ALL button does all the new emails. You group the emails from 'Today' and 'Earlier' and by '2024' and earlier 'years', so adding a checkbox beside a year would select for that year to be deleted…2nd ranked -
It does not simplify my life nor enhance my experience.
Forcing me to actively reset my GDP protections to on is a stumbling block which burdens my experience--it's an extra, unnecessary step, and no, I won't be changing my opinion every time I login.
Why keep GDP on? It limits the number of presumptive, ill-considered, prejudicial and sometimes insulting ads Yahoo serves, rather than sending anything of real interest.
