Get rid of ads across the bottom of the page
Your new ad across the bottom of the page is a really bad idea. What's next? Another ad above it making just one email subject line visible?

I wish I could restore my old Calendar full view. It was perfect, and much more functional than the new view which I do not like at all.

Ads with fake checkboxes are deceptive!
I've noticed a lot more ads in the email folder/list view that have fake checkboxes. If you are trying to clean up emails, it is easy to accidentally click on one of these ads and open a new window/tab. I see this as a deceptive practice on the part of Yahoo Mail because it creates a perception that a customer is purposefully going to that ad. I recommend that you remove the fake checkboxes on ads. Please allow Planner function to be disabled
Please allow users to toggle off the planner function. Some of us are very happy with existing calendars and find the Yahoo version to be an unreasonable intrusion with your scanning of our emails

Language translation feature not available in Yahoo Mail
Hello, I order some goods from a dutch company and the confirmation email sent was written in dutch. Yahoo mail UI should have the feature which translates the dutch text into english text.

Missing emails
All my emails in the 2025 is completely missing.. In Inbox, in Sent folder and other folders. Not sure if something is wrong as i did not delete emails spanning across a year!!!

Go back to easy access to the "swtich account" feature.
Go back to easy access to the "swtich account" feature. Suddenly it is not available. I should not have to log out to switch, always has been available. But Yahoo keeps giving different pathways and now the dot with my name does not even open at all, and Help opens but same problem there. Also I am signed in but this forum does not recognize that fact.

fix auto suggestion
Make the auto suggestion to TO field on an email composition, to have the option to delete permanently a suggestion of an email address (especially the ones which are not in the contact list or are misspelled ) and not just hide them.

Increasing the reaction speed while accessing Yahoo! mail
Yahoo! mail is extremely slow
Ever since I jump at the opportunity to revert to Yahoo! Mail's original (non-invasive, unassuming) version, my email service runs slower than anything I have encountered since switching to pc from a tablet. I have cleared my caches everywhere I am aware of, and defragged my disk. I know of nothing on my end causing the EXTREME lag I am experiencing. Stop 'create split view' when trying to put an email in a folder but moving more than a quarter of the way into the folder.
When I try to drag emails to folders and the folders slide to the right so I can 'create a split view' (whatever the **** that is) is driving me absolutely insane. I want to put an email in a folder, but I better not drag it more than a quarter of the way into the folder or else the whole thing moves on me an my intent has failed. It is terrible UI design. Thanks for listening and PLEASE change it back.

Malicious browser attack
You have an embedded file that is disguised as either an Ad or as a piece of mail. When clicking on the mail/ad checkbox, the mail/ad unleashes a malicious browser takeover which requires a browser shutdown and subsequent system scan.

Contact edit does not work and cannot add new contact
Cannot view anything on contacts but first and middle name when you enter for new contact or to modify existing contact. No way to edit email address. Cannot add new email address. Tried to send you a picture so you could see. No ability to scroll down to enter information on contact. Yahoo is not the application it once was.

how to see use of space
Hi Yahoo
I'm erasing mails from folders and Bin to get under 15GB, however after removing more than 1000 mails, the size of my account remains unchanged(number under settings and then bottom left)
Is this an error.....or how can i see what takes up all this space ?thanks/Henrik_lyppert@yahoo.dk

Don't show "0" next to folders with no new mail.
Don't show "0" next to folders with no new mail. Only show number of unread messages. Any number next to a mailbox acts as an alert. In this case, 0 is a false-alert. Only show a number when there is one or more unread messages.

Photophobia
My suggestion is for people who suffer from photophobia, like me. I wish it were possible to customize the background color for reading emails (to give one example). If it were possible to change the background to black and the text to light gray, that would be great for me—and I think for everyone else who has the same problem.

Column on the right takes up too much space
I'm sticking to the old layout as I can shrink the right-hand column. However, this is still annoying as it doesn't stay shrunk / compacted. Is there a setting to change this somewhere so it defaults to staying compacted until I want it (if ever)?
This would be useful for both the old AND new layouts.6th ranked
