WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. None. You need to fix this..

    I am UNABLE to permanently adjust/set the "Font Family or Font Size" (Default rich-text font). It's located as the last option on the screen and when I click on either tab (Font Family or Font Size), I'm not able to select any the drop down option due to the fact the screen will NOT scroll down to allow me to make a selection.

  2. Emails from Zoho Books (sender.zohobooks.com) silently rejected - not delivered to inbox, spam, or trash

    I am not receiving emails from message-service@sender.zohobooks.com (British Oak Montessori school invoices). The same emails are sent to both me and my wife - she receives them but they never arrive in my Yahoo inbox, spam folder, or trash. The sender is in my contacts and is not blocked. This has happened multiple times. Historical emails from the same sender were delivered fine in 2024-2025 but recent ones in May 2026 are being silently rejected. Please investigate why Yahoo is blocking legitimate transactional emails from Zoho Books for my account rfaee2002@yahoo.com.

    I WANT THE OLD VERSION PLEASE. HOW TO CHANGE IT TO THE OLD VERSION. ITS MORE EASY TO LOOK AT. AND I HATE THE RIGHT SIDE PANEL.

  6. MUY URGENTE: Mejorar la opcion de pago ampliacion de memoria de la cuenta

    Hola buenos dias,
    Les escribo porque no puedo contactar con su equipo de soporte, he escrito una nota en la red social X.

    Es para avisarles que la opcion de contratar mas espacio en las cuentas de yahoo, no funciona correctamente.

    Ayer hice la contratación de espacion en 2 ocasiones y en las dos ha funcionado mal y ahora mismo tengo la cuenta de correo bloqueada y sin poder recibir correos.

    Mi cuenta de yahoo bloqueada es: dcz1976@yahoo.es

    Por favor, espero que lo solucionen a la mayor brevedad posible y me contacten a esta otra cuenta de correo: acdcjuly@gmail.com

  9. Need the themes in the new version too

    I loved the new Yahoo inbox look but I still prefer being able to choose from the various themes in the old version and give my personal touch. The new inbox looks like a rented unit the old felt like my home. Please see if you can add the themes-like thing in the new setup. Thanks

  10. More Customization please

    Allow us to customize the color or allow themes like Yahoo mail used to. When I have several accounts using my laptop (teens for example) it's nice to tell when you accidently opened one of their email pages when they haven't logged/signed out. Just keeps it organized.

  12. Month, Day Year needs to be shown on all dates when sending and replying to emails

    Month, Day Year needs to be shown on all dates when sending, forwarding and replying to emails.

    Currently you have only Month and Day. The Year needs to be included too since emails could be for used for legal purposes.

  17. You can let me go back to the old version.

    Please add a button to go back to the old version. This version is too spread out and hides emails in the wrong categories. Old version was more compact and did not hide emails, letting me sort in my own way.
