WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. What's Gone Wrong?

    This New Yahoo Mail is the worst I have ever seen. Basic was perfect, elegant and functional. New Yahoo Mail is out of focus where once the imagery was sharp and focussed. The email headings are tuck away to one side. I have to manually reduce the size of each email because the only option I have is large! What's gone wrong?

  3. Fjern det nye, trege systemet

    Etter at dere TVANGSINNFØRTE den nye email-designen, valgte jeg å gå tilbake til det gamle (etter å ha funnet det med liten skrift i innstillingene, tølpere) men oppdager at selv om jeg nå har "det gamle oppsettet" igjen, fungerer det MYE tregere. Hele poenget med å beholde yahoo-adressen min som hoved-emailadresse var fordi dere IKKE hadde et tregt system (maskinkrevende), slik som f.eks hotmail/outlink har. Fortsetter dere med dette trege nye systemet blir jeg nødt til å se etter en annen emailtilbyder.

    hate this new look!!!! it looks like it was designed by a ******* ******** 2 year old!!!! it looks like ******* DOG *!!! you are going to get more people leave your website for good. as this is just plain **** AWFUL!!! and i love how you ***** have removed the 'Go back to Basic' on your pathetic settings page!! who ever said YES to this design, needs to be fired immediately! as their **** up is going to cost you a lot of money!!

  6. I have someone else's name appearing under my e-mail

    I have someone else's name appearing under my e-mail. I have deleted and re-entered my name several times but when I compose an email or send an e-mail, their name still appears. Should I close/delete my account?

  10. Fix the date on the print view to show the correct time zone instead of UTC

    When printing a document, it shows up with UTC at the printout, which is very confusing because you would expect it to show the current time. Also, further down the page, it shows the correct time zone, which makes it even more confusing. Please unify this and stop printing UTC on the top of my printouts. Thank you.

  11. Option "Swith to old Yahoo Mail" does not work

    Option "Swith to old Yahoo Mail" does not work - it does nothing when selected. I've been using Yahoo Classic Mail for over 20 years and don't want to switch to the new layout. Please don't force it on me - I want to stay with Yahoo Classic Mail.

  14. By letting users decide if they want to use it

    How about leaving it alone. All this extra **** I do not want and didn't ask for. I just want the email account that I have had for nearly 20 years to work and be easy to navigate. Every time you "update" it it gets worse. Hopefully you will soon offer the chance to just go back to basic mail. I don't want apps I don't want access to my phone contacts and I certainly don't want AI. It is all useless *****, my email has been fine for 20 odd years now you seem to think I want…

    You deleted email including old bills that I can no longer obtain and need to obtain hundreds of dollars of property. You have cost me hundreds of dollars for no reason and I will never use yahoo again.

  16. show next message option displays previous message

    The "Show next message" setting displays the previous message instead of the next message. The issue is reproducible in Chrome, Firefox, and Edge and by clearing cache. The issue occurs using the move message function from the folder icon and the delete message function.   17. MAKE YOUR EMAIL SYSTEM WORK!

    After transferring from comcast.net, I have LOST EMAILS, LOST FOLDERS, EMPTY FOLDERS, and emails I send show in the SENT folder, but recipients including myself never get them and I don't get a message that emails were not sent, and I don't see any outbox which can show emails were not sent!!! SUPPORT IS TOTALLY USELESS!!!

    Hello Yahoo Support,

    I have experienced a serious security issue with my Yahoo Mail account. Twice now, when I clicked the checkbox to delete an email (without opening it), the box contained an advertisement. As soon as I clicked to delete, it attempted to access my PC.

    This means hackers are embedding ads directly into the delete checkbox, so that when users try to remove unknown or suspicious emails, it triggers unauthorised access attempts.

  20. Support for old yahoo.com email users

    Don't send me to comcast... I want support from yahoo.com. I'm trying to unsubscribe from bad spam... but it is a vicious circle when it is blocked by my virus protection. Any suggestions?
