There needs to be a way to pin frequently used folders instead of burying them under a folder icon.

Sorting Unread emails by Senders Name
I have tried numerous times to sort my unread messages by sender's name and although the option is available, it does not sort. Can this issue be resolved as soon as possible? Would make removing unwanted emails efficiently. Thank you,

Create an option for users to delete all UNREAD messages with date selection, ie delete all "unread message prior to 1/1/26"

Sent Folder - Mass Actions
I'm trying to clean up my sent folder. There is no way to select multiple messages and do a mass action on them such as delete, move, archive, mark read/unread. You have to do them one message at a time. Bring back all of the action buttons that used to be at the top and also the select all messages checkbox. I don't know why these aren't there. Should be at least consistent with the other folders especially because the sent folder is one of the main folders in any email app.

Undo Send
Sometimes an e-mail is sent too quickly or hasn't been proof read thoroughly. It would be nice to be able to do edit or recall an e-mail.

Images continue to show despite changing setting, this is unsafe
I want to use the new Yahoo mail but it feels unsafe to do so until the images are truly blocked. They are still there for me. But when I switch to the older version they are gone.

when I'm Staring email, I want to be able to star it in the same column that I unstar
in the main email page when I want to star an email I have to move to the right hand side to star and email, but the icon for the star is on the left of the description.

Have differnt Star Colors
I was thinking it would be great if the user could change the star color from just red. I personally star a tone of emails but they are for different things like work, purchase orders, medical and so on. So for example, I could star my work emails with a yellow star and for medical a blue star and so on. Just food for thought.

Allow user to set email filters to inbox categories
For some reason the automatic message sorts in category placement in the inbox has changed. Hence, now most of
messages that were previously going to the 'proper' categories (offers, social and newsletter) are now showing up in the primary inbox category. A function like the one when the user moves a message to the Spam folder that sets a filter, could be implemented for when the user moves a message to a different inbox category.62nd ranked -

Move Unread Folder up on the left side bar or give us the option to customize our side bar.
Move Unread Folder up on the left side bar or give us the option to customize our side bar. I use the unread tab every day to see what's new and mark my emails as "read" quickly. With the new design, the Unread folder is now hidden under the three dots and requires an extra click every time I'd like to navigate to it. If for some reason it doesn't make sense to move the unread box up for everyone, then let us customize our own side bars or restore the option to revert back to Classic Mail. Thanks!

bring back some lost functionality please!
Please bring back:
1. Create Filter from this message/sender shortcut.
2. Search no longer lets me choose which folder to search, it searches every folder by default.
3. "Delete all emails" deletes from all folders, not just the folder selected. I don't want to delete every email from that sender, just those in the Inbox.
No option on your account to return to the prior Yahoo Mail interface. Yahoo confirms that some accounts no longer have the rollback option.62nd ranked -

Protect Starred/Tagged Emails from "Select All" Deletion
The 'Select All' feature is fantastic for quickly clearing junk. However, when 'Select All' is used, it includes emails that I have already marked as Starred (or otherwise "tagged important").
My suggestion is that the system should be designed to automatically exclude any emails that are Starred/Tagged Important when the user selects 'Select All' for deletion. This would prevent accidentally deleting priority messages while mass-clearing the inbox.
In short: Starred/Important emails should be protected from the 'Select All' function for deletion.

SEPARATE EMAILS BY DATE
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back my inbox that is organized by date: Today, Yesterday, Earlier This Week, Last Week, Earlier This Month, Last Month, Earlier This Year, Last Year, etc. YOU HAD IT - NOW IT IS GONE! Gmail has it, Outlook has it, WHY DID YOU REMOVE THIS FEATURE - NOW I JUST HAVE A HUGE LIST OF EMAILS IN MY INBOX WITH NO SEPARATION WHATSOEVER! I have spent over an hour looking to return to Classic, Basic, filter by date... anything to resolve this issue!
