Stop Putting Spam Email Ads in my Email

make the inbox wider
I very much dislike the new inbox design. The majority of the space should be dedicated to READING THE MESSAGES, not categories and the address book. The new look only allows the very center of the screen for reading messages. If this continues I will have to find another service.

E-mails are terrible to read when there are several replies
You need to fix e-mail trails when there are several replies. It is almost impossible to follow a full trail in date order. In addition, when you forward an e-mail and type on it, this is then included in the trail as well.

Correct errors
Now you've changed things, mail doesn't not work properly. I'm unable to send emails using my usual browser (duckduckgo) and some things are generally jumbled up. Please correct these errors.

Larger Email Window and Ads on the LEFT
Believe it or not I am more apt to click on an AD if it is subtle. Having it HUGE and taking 1/3 of the right side of my email makes me want to delete my yahoo mail account that I have had for 25 years. I have always loved the simplicity and ease of use of yahoo but now, with the update, I can't even view larger emails without navigating the slider. You would be better off having ads on the left side and smaller, alongside the folders.

I don't like all the wasted space between the boxes in the new view.
Maybe compact view will be better, but I don't like seeing all the empty space between the boxes on the screen.

Resize attached image size option LOST
New Yahoo update has lost the ability to resize contained images. This is in emails that I am trying to forward. Previously you could hover of the top right corner and an image size option would appear. I will not be saving each image and individually resize each one and then doing re-attach. Not an option. Most of my emails that I send have this issue!!

Get rid of that window with Stars & Contacts
It's in the way of previewing my email and I can't seem to find a way to eliminate that window. Absolutely hate it. I may have to change email servers if I can't figure a way around this unwanted feature. Thank you.

I hate the new layout of the yahoo mail. 24 years customer- paying of yahoo mail. The right side menu with the starred items, always is open- I close it. Then reopen email another time, it's open. It takes up space. make it so it stays closed or we can remove it. The lines are too far apart vertically in the preview... less emails to glance at quickly. Actually BLOCK the senders in my blocked list.
While attempting to add spam senders to my blocked senders list, imagine my surprise when I get the message that the spammer addresses are already in my blocked senders list, but your wonderful system is still allowing them to hit my mailbox.
How much are these scamming pieces of **** paying you to ignore user's blocks?
I've had this address for over 30 years now, and with your *-poor coding when it comes to ACTUALLY BLOCKING SPAM and refusing to honor blocked addresses, I'm about to start using my gmail instead.

Configurable, narrower sidebar width
Lately, the minimum sidebar width (contacts area) is about twice as wide as it used to be. My messages can display in only half my screen width now. That's fine on my workstation but on my laptop I can display only 3/4 of the message width when I have the mailbox list also displayed. I have to use the bottom slider to move the message back and forth to read it -- a slow and awkward process. Please made the sidebar width adjustable to narrower dimensions again as it used to be.

Greying out read messages
I dislike how cluttered the inbox looks, simply having the subject of the email BOLD doesn't call out emails enough to see what is and isn't read due to the fact that you are BOLDING Ads in the middle of the inbox. This will kill how much people use yahoo going forward.

drag and drop images as attachment
Please make that when i drag and drop move an image that put it down in the attachment and not in inline image. The best way is like in Thunderbird, if you drag and drop image he ask which one i whant, inline or attachment.
