Unfortunately, you cannot revert back. We are only making the new one better. We know change is frustrating and hard but we really hope you'll give the new layout a fair chance.


WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. Stop changing how Yahoo Mail appears

    This is becoming very annoying and bloody unnecessary. Also, stop deleting emails I have moved to my trash bin. I'll fully delete them when I'm good and ready.

  2. File sending

    I have been with Yahoo since the beginning! and now I can not send files (songs) that are below 25mb. Some are only 16mb. Not sure what is going on?

  3. Folders

    I hate that I cannot see all my folders on the main inbox page like I could in the basic version. I have most of my emails that I need to see filtered to different folders. So, having to take the extra step multiple times is irritating.

  4. Allow us to change it back to the older UI

    I've had the same UI on this site for probably over a decade. I don't like how the new one looks, it's harder to see which emails are already read. Why am I forced to look at the new design? It seems like something that's intentionally sterilized into looking like a generic mobile web app just for the sake of doing so

  5. Change settings for trash

    Automatically deleting trash after only seven days is too soon. I'm using less than half my storage. I need to keep those deleted emails for at least 30 days.

  6. Change color of selected emails

    Can you please change it so when I select a bunch of emails, it highlights a different color? When you select one, it changes the color of it, but when you select a bunch, they remain the same color. It's super hard to see what I've selected, besides the tiny checkmarks. This change is awful for people who have a hard time seeing. We need to be able to distinguish contrast. There is NO contrast when several emails are selected.

  7. Allow mail to take up more screen

    The ads take up almost one-half of the screen. I cannot see my mail. I do NOT like the new format.

  8. New inbox is not good

    I hate it, didn't want it. Now the read emails and the unread emails look exactly the same. Why didn't you just say you wanted it to look exactly like Gmail?

  11. Make new redesigns optional

    I don't understand who these redesigns are for? They always look worse than the previous version and are harder to use. Are you trying to keep busy to avoid getting laid off by AI? After making the "New and downgraded" inbox not ugly and hard to use, can you focus on adding new features or improving it for a few years instead of redesigning it constantly?

    I have used my yahoo email less and less in favor of google, which I created because you guys keep changing your freaking designs for the worse. I am considering swapping the last of…

  12. Multiple inboxes

    You need to show contents of multiple inboxes in one common screen. It's such a pain to scroll down and manually select which inbox to view. The inbox selector should also be on top of the list, not the bottom. Who needs this "streaks" function. It's email, stop trying to coordinate my life for me

    It looks awful all white.

  15. The Tab control

    The tab button does not TAB when writing now. It moves to the buttons. When typing a lot of us use the tab to space over when writing emails. This is annoying and causes us to send emails to early when typing.

  19. Put the block feature back

    What happened to the option to block a fraudulent address right from the more options drop down menu. That really needs to come back to block addresses before opening them just in case it a virus or some scam.

  20. YAHOO CLASSIC IS PREFERRED !!!!!

    The new look is NOT WANTED !!! and is HORRIBLE !!!! yahoo management, and the users DO NOT !!!!! like it nor do we want the change, management needs to listen to its users (subscribers/clients/members) or watch as we take our loyalty to another provider.
