Please bring back the ability to add pictures and GIFs in the message board! (image, images, pics)
That was literally the only reason my league still uses Yahoo! Fantasy Sports. The quality of the site is as sufficient as other sites, but where you guys really stood out was in the ability of the league to stay connected and banter with GIFs and Pics in the league message board. It really is not that difficult (I know that you know this), and as of right now I just code the image or gif in myself. The problem is that it is a hassle, and not everyone in my league knows how to do it. Please, please, please just bring the "post image" button back so we don''t have to consider moving sites next year. It will have to be voted on in league this season, so by the time you guys re-add it we will be gone, as will a lot of other leagues... I feel like your engineers haven't realized this yet; by removing something that people really like only to bring it back the next year like it was an "improvement" is not having the effect you think. People leave and don't come back, regardless of whether you bring back whatever it was that made them leave. I'm talking your hardcore supporters; the core guys who have been with you for a decade or longer (14 years for us I think). Don't do this to us, please. A simple button that does the img src= blah blah blah for us is all I ask. Seriously. If there are unseen issues, then lay out guidelines, that's fine. Just don't ruin what has always been a good thing, and the one aspect of your site that helps it stand out among the others.

The message board for the app is brutal, I can't even post messages to my league without "<br>" appearing everywhere and my message appearing disorderly. Frustrating.
The idea presented above, about bringing back the option to paste pictures to the message board, is a great suggestion. Years ago we could link YouTube videos and a video player would show same in the message board - our league would welcome back such options.

Incredibly sad that yahoo predictably opened 2018 without this feature, You people are total clowns for ruining the culture and chemistry of some of these leagues.

This is up there with the dumbest things I've seen yahoo fantasy do and it makes me wonder I still use the site when they are literally going backwards.

I couldn't agree more. All 3 of my leagues will be leaving Yahoo after this season if this isn't brought back. Its one of the best things about fantasy - trash talking - and gifs are key.
We will be moving away from FREE yahoo fantasy to a paid service league that allows gifs. Get your game together yahoo

We've been using Yahoo as host since 2002 and were discussing changing sites until this feature really made the league fun. Why the **** do you eliminate the best new feature that differentiated Yahoo from most other leagues? Last year, we could cut & paste photos and GIFs into the body of the posting with rich text editing...the league exploded in activity with guys who never post, suddenly putting up a couple each day. This absolutely must come back or we'll have no choice but to find a new host. Yahoo really blew it with this move.

Please bring back this feature - the ability to post images and gifs on the message board is what sets Yahoo apart from the other fantasy websites.

Could you explain how you code the image/gif in? Really missing this feature.

We have a league that has been together for nearly 20 years and it includes a Commercial Artist who's images have been some of the funniest and entertaining components to our group. We go all year round on Yahoo with Football, Baseball, Basketball, and Hockey. It's a HUGE disappointment when great features are removed because likely a few idiots are posting inappropriate content.
Bring it back Yahoo!!!!

there are 2 threads addressing this issue ... I used to be able to post pics of customized schedule grids for my league and now I can't .... posting a link only, isn't helpful cause some people don't like being diverted to a different site .... there has been enough commentary to justify fixing the issue by either returning to previous set up or creating a direct method of "drag drop" or "copy paste" ... I noticed the you have insert button that requires an URL but that doesn't work AT ALL .. it doesn't even post a link just leaves a blank (I've tested it with 6 different URL types) ... in the past 2 years Yahoo has been breaking a system that was the best fantasy format available ... that reputation is swiftly being damaged by unnecessary changes

I used to be able to post pics of customized schedules in my leagues for easy view ... now I can't do that ... please restore the feature .... posting a link is useless as it doesn't always work for everyone and frankly most people are not inclined to follow links .... it also increases risks of accidentally importing a virus ... the easiest and best fix option would be to use the same feature you have for personalized team logos

Very frustrating and ridiculous. My league will go to ESPN next year if this feature is not restored.

Why remove a feature that worked??? I could understand if this was new technology but we are talking about a feature several years old. Maybe the plan is push all fantasy players to other competitors who offer that feature.

My league has been posting images in the message board for years. I enjoyed looking at those archived images from time to time to reminisce on fantasy seasons of the past. They have been like a precious family photo album full of our league's most treasured memories. It is as if our league's childhood home has been burned to the ground. V sad

Still baffled this "feature" was removed this year.
Way to bring us back to the stone age, Yahoo.

Really disappointed about this. Why remove image posting and polls? What could possibly be the rationale behind this? Polls are a really vital and convenient tool for leagues since a vast percentage use majority votes for rule changes and other league matters. There should be a robust message and image posting mechanism. We're in the age of social media and all I can do on the message board is enter simple text.

I agree with all of this as well, not cool Yahoo. The gifs and photos were an essential part of banter in our league, bring it back please!!!

I just realized polls are gone too. Why Yahoo? I feel like this is some strange twilight zone where a car company (Yahoo, in this metaphor) is removing air conditioning (gif/pic/poll posting) from this year's models so they can re-introduce it next year and claim it is a huge upgrade. Who wants a car with no AC? Sure the car still moves, but so does every other car (I'm holding out hope that you guys fix this in the next month, so I will refrain from posting your fantasy sports competitors here). It's the perks that make the difference...

I agree with all of this. Don't make your product worse yahoo. My league loved posting memes and pics in the midst of talking trash. Why are you making it harder for us to express ourselves?

And, as I said before, bringing the "add image" button back next season will not be viewed as an improvement. By then Yahoo! will have lost many core supporters who will not return. The reason I mention core supporters is because they are the ones who visit the site multiple times a day, hence more ad revenue. The ones who don't visit the site multiple times per day (probably more like once every 4 days) don't help bring in revenue, and they probably are the ones who don't use the message boards. Please fix this Yahoo!
