  1. cpu usage high on new finance pages

    New Finance Page consumes large amount of CPU on idle main page. When I return back to classic, I have no issues.

    Found on latest Firefox build but not sure if it exists on older versions

  2. What gives???

    You are making us use the new chart format, but they have not been working for over 2 days now! Checked on two computers, both NG!

    Good reason to go back to the Classic charts!

  3. I have 2 yahoo accounts.

    I have two yahoo accounts, but you now require verification on each account! One uses the other to verify? In rural america not all people have mobile access or texting, because of private phone carriers. Why can't you use a land line to verify?

    please think about to add two function.
    1. Setup-> Show tooltips can add one function. like (floating short)
    when choice it. the left side about indicator msg don't need show again let chart clearly, and "right click to deleteright-click" message, can take it off or show it on right top or bottom blank place, don't let it show on chart, if it can instead by show date, closeprice, and ma price (or let us choice which item want to see ). if you don't want to do change , please at least let the long sentence and ma(xx,ma,0)…

    As of 10/6/2024 7:38 pm PST CAT (https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/CAT/) is showing the company name as CATCo Reinsurance Opps Ord instead of Caterpillar Inc. The profile (https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/CAT/profile/) for caterpillar, Inc. is missing.

    Clue: CATCo Reinsurance Opps Ord is CAT.L on the London Stock Exchange.

  6. Add currency change when adding a new transaction

    Love the new portfolio 2.0! When adding a new transaction it is currently not possible to change the currency. It would be great if that was possible, because I buy almost all my stocks euros.

  9. error message on downloading historical data from finance yahoo

    I have encountered an issue when attempting to download historical data. Upon clicking the download button, I receive an error message, which I have attached for your reference, but I cannot attached an image under this forum

  10. allow anonymous feedback

    Fix the black rectangle at the bottom of charts that shows the date, so it is more readable. The white text on the black background is small and hard to read. It does not really need the year, but should have day, month and time.

  11. Creating Watchlist Vs Portfolio

    Currently the only way to create a watchlist is to create a portfolio. Your product team really needs to separate creating a portfolio and creating a watchlist. This is very basic and as a paying customer I am disappointed that this is not the case. You can just make it simple by adding a drop down of Create - Portfolio or Watchlist. This keeps actual investment view separate from watchlists. Pretty basic.

  14. All columns in a single page view.

    For the 'enhanced' yahoo finance portfolio page, I can no longer see all of the columns on my screen but need to scroll left to right. This is a big issue in making the enhanced view useable so I always use the classic view. Can you address this? By the way, yahoo finance is a great site. I really like and use it a lot.

  15. problems with new Finance

    I tried the new redesigned finance and found it has a number of issues. Foremost is the summary has completely changed so I have to have shares listed to be able to follow the performance of multiple stocks including things like the % change in each day.
    Also there was an issue with the community comments. With the old format I could mute or report each comment , but with the new finance format those options are gone. I thought it might be a configuration issue but I could see no way to get those options back.

  17. BHP.L has incorrect dividend data for the latest final pay out

    BHP.L is showing incorrect latest dividend. I have no idea where the latest dividend rate is coming from but I couldn't relate to anything. The price is for London Stock Exchange symbol in GBX the actual dividend per share is 56.579249p. Where does 109p per share is coming from? I couldn't understand why am I getting so little until I checked the official website.

  18. issues with updating positions

    Post stock split (10 for 1) I tried to update my transactions with nothing but problems. I had a number of transactions and some I could update but there were a few that wouldn't update and I couldn't even delete them. Finally I deleted the whole stock and tried to re-enter but now it is not showing the correct daily gain/loss.
