Unfortunately, you cannot revert back. We are only making the new one better. We know change is frustrating and hard but we really hope you'll give the new layout a fair chance.



WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off
Unread Count - You can hover over "Inbox" to see the Unread count or you can expand the left hand column and Unread will be in the column below Inbox with the unread count. No hovering.

  2. Simplify my Inbox

    In my email Inbox, I have the folders on the left and the email preview window in the middle.
    There is an unused field on the right of the screen. I cannot see how to eliminate this unused field and don't have a use for it.
    Can you please let me have a view with just the folders down the left and the preview window taking up the rest of the screen?

  3. Get rid of "bubbles" over email titles.

    These stupid irritating bubbles get in the way when I click on emails to open them!!!! Who thinks theyre a good idea???!! Also when writing an email and U choose options for color, etc.. It doesnt automatically disappear. Have to click the 3 dots to make it go away! Another STUPID thoing that needs to go away. Dont care for the new options and the look isnt that great either. Should NEVER start with those email folder options!! They all should go to INBOX until user decides to change how they want it to work. NEVER ASSUME people want this…

    I can't find where the IMAP server is located. You give instructions of what info to put in it but not how to locate it.

  6. Make it easier to view the actual email.

    The new style makes it difficult to view the actual email in full. The options ribbon (forward, reply, move, etc.) is much larger than it needs to be, and so is the bar that tells you who it's from.

  7. System Improvement

    You put the STAR icon right next to the TRASH icon in the email inbox. This can cause an email dropping into the trash, for those of us who type quickly. Please move it to a better place.

  8. I HATE THE NEW EMAIL

    The updated email look is terrible. I would like to switch back to the old version. Please let me know how. If that is not possible, let me know how I can download my folders so I can move to another email service.

    Inbox should be more compact. More important, unread mail should be more evident (bolder font, highlighted, something else)

  12. I want my old inbox back

    I want my old inbox back. It was easier to distinguish between read and unread emails and the dropdown menu for various actions was faster to use than the separate buttons that replaced it. Not to mention that I just liked the way it was set up.

    I already have five other email accounts that use Outlook/OWA or Gmail. I've kept the yahoo account that predates all of them and gets the most junk mail because I've never been a fan of that style of email interface and now you've forced us to use the same thing as everyone else.…

  18. Swith back to old Yahoo mail!

    The new version is unstable with my favorite browser, Mozilla Firefox, and I don't like the interface. Can I go back to the previous version of Yahoo mail?

  19. WHY HAS YAHOO DELETED MY SYNCED HOTMAIL FOLDERS?

    4 WORDS - I AM VERY UPSET. - I am writing to demand immediate action and escalation regarding the critical loss of my personal data. Due to Yahoo’s recent mail system updates, the sync integration between my Yahoo account and my Hotmail account was broken, resulting in the total disappearance of my synced Hotmail folders, files, and family photos.
