Unfortunately, you cannot revert back. We are only making the new one better. We know change is frustrating and hard but we really hope you'll give the new layout a fair chance.



WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off
Unread Count - You can hover over "Inbox" to see the Unread count or you can expand the left hand column and Unread will be in the column below Inbox with the unread count. No hovering.

  1. Bring back blocking and removing a specific email all at once

    There use to be the option of blocking and removing a specific email all at once. I had received 133 spam emails and 119 of them were from the same email address ( contact@xysyrsm.com). I use to be able to block and remove these all at once, but now I had to look at EVERY one of them. I saved all of them if you would like some proof. Please bring back the option of blocking and removing all of the unwanted emails all at once.

  2. Make the reading window bigger please.

    How do i make the reading window bigger on my lap top. I am not a computer tech! This new version sucks *. I never had any problems till this new *.

  3. MESSAGE/COMPOSE AREA TOO SMALL

    The message box is too small, and u see only very small bits of your message at a time. On top of that there is no expanded look like that of Outlook. For me scrolling left, right, up, down to read a message is very frustrating. I REALLY PREFER THE CLASSIC VIEW. You can see the whole message in one shot. I hope you help improve on this.

  4. Prullenbak: zelf kunnen beslissen wanneer die definitief geleegd wordt

    Voor mij is de Prullenbak een tijdelijke opslagplaats voor e-mails die behandeld zijn maar die ik nog wel wil bijhouden. In de nieuwe lay-out zouden die al na zeven dagen plots verdwijnen! Terwijl dat voor de spamfolder een volle maand is! Ik vind dat we dat zélf moeten kunnen kiezen. Een maand vind ik billijk, maar 't zou zelfs langer mogen zijn wat mij betreft.

  5. Maybe fewer graphics. This page often does not load for several tries.

    I don't know what is slowing it down, but there are a lot more graphics on the lists now.

  7. New Yahoo Mail is Not visually appealing

    Please allow the users to switch back to previous Yahoo Mail. It was visually much better which made it easier to navigate.

    I absolutely DO NOT like this New Yahoo Mail.

  8. Don't force an unfinished update on users

    Please give us the option to hide or remove the side panel, resize the columns, and provide proper settings. Why did you roll this out and force it on us before it was complete? Where are the different view options?

  10. Show a simple inbox - get rid of the childish features

    Go back to classic. We just want to check our email, not engage in social media silly features. At work I get over 50 emails every day, so coming to see that "level 60/100 wow" seems childish. Most of the people using Yahoo are Gen X, maybe millennials, so please don't treat us like Gen Alpha. Thank you.

  11. Inbox

    the inbox has become very congested. The profile icons between the check box and senders name is such a distraction. Can you please bring back the ability to remove those.

    Also I noticed that while looking through the inbox, we used to just highlight the email and click delete. and just keep deleting all the way down if everything in the inbox needs to be deleted. There is no longer a way to do that. The delete icon disappears unless we check the box. can you bring that back?

  12. get rid of the "game popups". Ridiculous.

    What the F just happened to my email?! It is not a cutesy pop up pictures and explosions of confetti, and I want to vomit.
    Fire who created this, and is forcing it on adults who need a responsible page.
    This whole thing is ugly, and I want the old theme and mail look back.

  14. Attachment view

    This isn't an "idea", it's a complaint. I can't access an attachment. I used to hover & click preview. I tried clicking both preview and download and neither appeared. I checked my "download" folder and it's not there either. How do I view an attachment!!??

    Just dislike the new look of the email I especially dont like the dark bold lettering is there a way to remove that

  18. Issue with your server

    Some of my email are not showing in my inbox https://mail.yahoo.com/. These emails were not deleted, spammed or archived. The emails existed in my inbox. For example 9 December 2024 emails. This is not browser related issue. It is clearly your server issue. I tested with Edge, Chrome, Incognito and the issue remains.
    whether I use the search or scroll to the entire inbox to locate the emails around December 2024, I don't see some of the emails.

  20. Put the STAR symbol back on the left side of the email list

    Put the STAR symbol back on the left side of the email in the email list. It is a pain in the trackball to have to slide the cursor over to the right side to activate the STAR.
