WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Fix the multitude of bugs in the software.

    It would be nice if setting my notifications to also be emailed to me that they would actually be emailed to my email.

  2. Comcast.net assured me my email could be kept.

    To forward the email that is no longer comcast.net you are trying to charge a monthly fee. Won't work.
    Shove it where the sun don't shine. Changed all my accounts and no longer need it.
    I thought Comcast was greedy and disingenuous but Yahoo takes it to a new level. No wonder the platform failed in the 2016.
    I had no idea Yahoo was still around. Not just ads but Monthly fees too? Up yours.You too Verison and Comcast.
    I see now Comcast/xfinity is now giving 5 year prices to get customers that they lost by lying about pricing. LOL

  3. please restore pension slips of IDBI bank stored in archieve folder which were deleted today

    Please do not send any message from IDBI BANK & ANGEL Broking to spam folder I am a client of both the entities Treat all messages from these as genuine. Please restore all messages of my pension slips of IDBI BANK stored in Archieve folder which were deleted today wrongly.

  4. I need to be able to view the raw message

    RAW Message Data View - I need it!
    How can I see why a message was marked SPAM if I can't see the raw message data? You took away the ... at the bottom of each message that offered that option.

  5. OTP not receiving

    I have an account on NPS NSDL website and its linked with my yahoo email id, i tried many times but the OTP is not receiving, not even the OTP receiving in any other folder also like spam and etc. Please fix the said matter.

  7. Unable to save changes made to the inbox or any folder for that matter.

    No changes are saved. Also the refresh takes infinite time to complete. This does not really help

  12. Issue when deleting email drafts

    I've noticed since last year that when a draft is deleted and that draft is part of a chain of email exchanges, everything related to that chain of emails is also deleted, from Inbox, from Sent, etc. The only option is to send a recovery request, but that doesn't work every time. It would be very important not to delete and lose everything when deleting a draft. Thank you!

  13. Fix Message Preview Bug

    As of February 6, 2026, the message preview feature is not working as intended. Whether the feature is toggled on or off, a preview of every email is visible when the inbox is displayed. When do you expect the message preview feature to work properly?

  14. YNotes partial search does not work

    Can Notes / calendar be integrated into YMail? in Ymail app also. is it a security issue? secret notes get compromised when YMAIL gets in wrong hands?

    YNotes partial search does not work. For example if notes contains "YMail" and when I search for mail, it does not give any results. On the notes search, Need to have option for whole word search or partial search across all notes.

  17. Remember if I collapsed the sidebar

    Allow me to keep the sidebar (Starred / Contacts) collapsed, don't reopen it every time I open Y!Mail.

  18. Poor viewing pans

    Remove the fixed right pan feturing Starred/Contact section. That's a total consumtion of mail viewing pan on the right. earlier there was one click right expansion on the right view pan which is removed at teh present set up thus restricting eapnsion of the viewing pan to the right if required. Very poor design and appearance, no improvement at all, remove the guys who are formign these non-sensical type of user interface

  19. easy way to manage attached/linked applications...

    signed into USERVOICE just to send a message on here, but how do I remove or disable or detach applications linked to yahoo account?
    In google it's super easy, you see the list and delete what you don't want. In yahoo it's a mystery.
    And how do you change link colors as well? thanks. please email me at memorysticky@yahoo.com

  20. Make filters EASY

    Gmail makes it so simple to set filters to send messages to certain folders. With Yahoo, it's so complicated I never remember how to do it, I have to look it up every time & it's so aggravating. It's nowhere near the inbox like it would intuitively be. It's this whole ordeal, so most of the time I'm left with this disastrous inbox of ALL THE THINGS until I get unbelievably fed up + have some minutes to re-research how to do it, and find the place to set the settings, and have to LOOK UP each individual email sender…
