[Chat/Message Boards] Message Board Removal Feedback
Feedback regarding the removal of message boards from Fantasy Baseball in the 2023 season.
Fantasy league message boards are not going to be available for the current season however you can still access historical message board posts through your fantasy profile. You can continue to communicate with your league via Fantasy Chat, email and commissioner notes. Moving forward we are investing in chat as the best place for league communication and will be adding threading, pinning, polls and more. We welcome your feedback below about how your league used message boards to help us make future improvements.

[Rosters] Daily/next day hybrid roster transaction deadline
Requests to add a setting allowing managers to immediately add players whose game hasn't started on the current day and players whose games have started won't reflect on their roster until the following day.

Allow Player Search by multiple positions (example 1B-3B-OF)
Beyond that, I really enjoyed not having to fiddle with a Free Agent Budget this year. I like the 1st come-1st served (subject to Waiver Priority) approach.

Can you please fix a loophole for max innings allowed. If you have 1/3 of an inning left you can pitch 10 guys and get credit for their stats. This has cause a huge problem in our league.

Ability to leave private leagues due to abusive commissioner
Joined private league years ago. As managers abandoned league, commissioner began manipulating league to his advantage. Deleting draft results and redrafting at inconvenient times. Suddenly moving up draft times to working hours to force auto draft. Ignores all active managers requests to leave league. Yahoo stands behind leaving private leagues be, but this inaction allows for league manipulation and ultimately manager rating manipulation.

Bring back message boards please
I've been playing fantasy baseball on Yahoo! for over 25 years. This year was my first Public Prize League and it's been my favorite league because everyone remained active all year round.
My only feedback is to bring back the message boards. I miss them dearly and I think they were also a vital part of the experience. The arguments, the bragging, etc... It makes for a more complete and intense experience. Please reconsider your previous decision and reinstate them. Thank you for listening.

Fantasy points league scoring
In the default h2h points fantasy baseball leagues, the best pitcher with less than a week to go in the season is ranked 72 best overall points wise. This is because pitchers have negative points and hitters don't. I think this was done because pitchers only pitch every 5 games, but they are more valuable then most everyday hitters. If you look at fantasy football, the top kickers have more points than most RB and WR currently, but only play a handful of snaps in the game.
Suggestion, there should be a least one negative category for hitters in fantasy…50th ranked -

Starting pitcher weekly limits.
Like ESPN and CBS and almost all other fantasy baseball apps please allow limits on weekly head to head starting pitchers. This seems like something so small, but I don’t understand how it’s not available in yahoo.

Playoffs - Odd number of teams and more Bye week options
This playoff format would allow for an odd number of teams in the playoffs and other options for Bye weeks in the first week of playoffs. Currently, this is not an option for playoff formats.
