It's called Classic for a REASON
I despise this new layout so much and taking away the option to stick with the classic layout is a great way to drive away your users. I've had this account since I was in HIGH SCHOOL. I am 32 years old now and I'm looking for other mail options.

HIDE STARRED/CONTACTS WIDGET FROM THE MAIN PAGE
The STARRED emails and CONTACTS shortcut on the right side of the new Yahoo Mail layout consumes vital real estate of the reading area. Both options are repetitive features as there is already a STARRED tab on the left plane, and CONTACTS are easily located elsewhere. I'm not asking to completely delete the feature, some may find it useful. Give your users the option to hide/unhide the box. Thanks.

People posting comments on articles are finding that OpenWeb is too critical. I recently had a post rejected and there wasn't anything in that post that didn't meet their guidlines. When I asked why my post was rejected, I never got an answer. It would have been helpful to me to know why my post was rejected. Thanks!

Get rid if censoring
get rid of censoring. i made this 2 sentence response and got rejected. "I don't see the significance of who lives in the bedroom. It was a point access." that was put up on a story regarding police entering a home to serve warrant. Yahoo must have flagged me for something because I've been rejected like 7 times in a row, for simple comments like this. how can we respond to opinion articles when we can't give our opinion in return

I’ve been experiencing an ongoing issue where my comments on Yahoo Finance discussion boards, recently under Aurora Innovation, Inc. (AUR) and other tickers—are repeatedly rejected with the message:
"Your comment violates the community guidelines and has been rejected."This has been happening for a long time, and I honestly don’t know why. I always try to follow the community guidelines and avoid any offensive, misleading, or promotional content. Despite that, none of my comments seem to be accepted.

Security key (2FA) can't be used on desktop when a passkey is added on mobile
I set up my account with a passkey (on my Android device) and added a 2FA security key for the desktop (Firefox).
When I did that, I couldn't sign in with the security key.
Every time I try to log in, I get an error "Passkey not found. Try creating a new one."The desktop browser doesn't support the passkey from my Android device, but seems like that option is being used instead of querying my security key. There is a "Try again" button but it doesn't help; the only way to continues is by entering my recovery phrase.

Please restore my old my.yahoo.com page!!!
It had been so great of yahoo to afford its followers to create their own webpages with the content displayed in different areas of the page. Also, the ability to view the weather in parts of the world that were important for us to see, such as the current weather in Beijing, etc. where I often travel to. And when I was in Beijing it was great to check out the weather in the State where I live.
