1. Forced to use fingerprints, passkey, or locked out/?? WTF

   I have great difficulty accessing my email today, and was extremely stressful trying to figure out a way around it. It asked if I want a passkey. NO I do not. And then it asks to set up fingerprint, NO I don't want that.
   
   So I chose 'skip' fingerprint option. Then it locked me out. I went around in a loop..... only way in was to use my pc. What if I was not home? How would I access my email??? Please help fix this.

   We do not want Orwellian 'security' measures. We want passwords and phone verification. This is really making things creepy, and too many issues.

3. Corporate overlords must be done away with.

   Maybe have Apollo global and state street and blackrock and vanguard sell off their stake in yahoo. Maybe have the owners of these banks stop spying on the users. 4. Fix yahoo mail landing page

   Here is my idea. When I go to the Yahoo Mail landing page, mail.yahoo.com I should find there A WAY TO LOG IN TO YAHOO MAIL. That is my only purpose in visiting that page. That is how I have been getting to Yahoo Mail for decades. Please try going to gmail.com and see what they have done there, perhaps it could provide some inspiration.

9. Don’t see anything

   I have recently been transferred from my Old yahoo app to the New one not by me but by your system
   The new one is inferior to the old one in the old version looking at my inbox mails I can easily by clicking at the bottom left hand corner go to my folders, sent folder spam etc
   Now I have to go back to another screen plus I still can only see the top 5 or 6 folders the rest requires another move into a new screen
   So we now have 3 steps not 1 progress I don’t think so

10. Sort by sender

    Hello, I see in the latest yahoo mail inbox that the option to sort by sender has disappeared. Why? I use sort by sender often, to clean up my inbox.

11. Technical issue

    Hello, since Yahoo allows only 15 GB for free use (that's like the Middle Ages!) I deleted many large files and emails, but it still shows the same amount of exceeded gigabytes. When will the system recalculate the storage usage?

    It cannot be correct that after deleting so much data (including the Trash folder), the total storage size still has not changed.

    Dear Yahoo! your forcing us to buy more storage is......I prefer not to use those words. I am one of the oldest yahoo users( since 1998 or something). Please send me a proof that i have exceded the limit of 15 gb; my callculations show that I didn't. I am preparing to migrate to gmail.

13. Yahoo Mail & 2FA process

    Simplify Mail 2FA. With a multitude of alternatives, it’s easy for the signing in process to get overly, if not impossibly complicated, especially when accessed with other devices. If 2FA is set up on one device with both phone and authenticator, then signing in on another device, one that is frequently used, easily becomes a nightmare, even more so if away from the original device. I speak from experience.

    It would be a lot better if the process were simplified to one or two methods, such as a current password and email code verification, using the backup email(s) the user has listed. Or a phone call, not SMS, since many people don’t have cell phones, or don’t regularly use them (or give out the number to just anyone). Banks do this, so why not Yahoo?

    And on this page, if I’m already signed into Yahoo, why do I need to sign in again to make a suggestion? And agree to some User Voice business? Talk about making things more complicated than they need to be.

17. filter/block spam better

    Please find a more efficient way to stop spam. I'm forced to delete 100 spams a day. Limit to block is 1000 so I have do delete previously blocked.

18. Stop being so strict with spoofing

    I'm very disappointed in what appears to be recent security changes that don't allow emails that came from a spoofed source but are actually from legitimate website forms.

    We run a website with a form that encourages thousands of customers to go on trips. One of the form fields is TRAVELER 1 EMAIL. The form is scripted to send a duplicate of the submitted form (sort of like an autoresponder), using the [traveler-1-email] tag. This worked for years, but now it doesn't and has put us in a big bind with no warning.

    Meanwhile, I DID receive 50 spam advertisements in my inbox, several of which I have previously flagged as spam. THOSE got through, but not legitimate business emails. Bottom line is that you have over-engineered the security features to a point where email is becoming useless.

19. My man email is yahoo and I access my Hotmail account from yahoo platform for years

    My main email is Yahoo.com, and I have accessed my Hotmail account from the Yahoo platform for years. Recently the connection to hotmail is giving me error even after several attempts, and it says "connection cancelled." I'm not sure the issue from Yahoo or Hotmail.com.
