Unfortunately, you cannot revert back. We are only making the new one better. We know change is frustrating and hard but we really hope you'll give the new layout a fair chance.


WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. New Yahoo Interface is terrible!

    Hard to navigate. Unintuitive. Clumsy and makes navigation impossible. Should absolutely offer old version as a PERMANENT fix!

  2. turn off streaks

    Can we please have an option to turn off email "streaks?" I don't need you telling me that I've achieved a lot today. Do you think this is a fitness app or a video game, and I need encouragement? Why am I unlocking achievements just by reading my daily email? So tone deaf and a waste of space.

  3. The New look of Yahoo email does not work well for me. I have hard time in reading/writing in dark and light background. light

    Ii would be nice if it has a choice of my display setting colors, or having medium color choice in Yahoo Email settings along with light and dark.

  4. The side panel

    The side panel that shows starred messages needs to stay collapsed. I use starred messages in my folders for important information that I don't want anyone wandering into my work area to see. When I have collapsed the panel it needs to STAY COLLAPSED, not just collapsed for this session.

  5. LET US MAKE BETTER USE OF THE EMPTY UNUSED SPACE TO THE RIGHT

    THE FAR RIGHT SIDE OF THE EMAIL IS BLANK AND TOTAL WASTED SPACE. WHATEVER YOU THINK WILL IT WILL BE USED FOR, IT ABSOLUTELY STUPID TO KEEP IT BLANK WHEN WE COULD EXPAND ALL THE WAY OVER TO SEE MORE. PLUS YOU DONT EVEN HAVE FROM: SUBJECT: DATE/TIME AT THE TOP OF THE LISTS. IT LOOKS SO DUMB. A REFLECTION ON WHO EVER DECIDED TO DO THIS CHANGE.

  7. Even your help is annoying.

    You've made switching between accounts a real hassle, (not what I really wanted to say about it) I don't know why you think what you've done to mail was a good idea, but it's definitely NOT an upgrade, just less functional, and more annoying.

  11. Starred is a pain in my butt right now

    I would like the Option of contact calendar OR starred upfront on my mail page where EVERYONE can see. I need to reorganize my mailbox with no warning so I can keep things handy but not in public view.

  14. New layout sucks

    This is a horrible layout. You can't list your email accounts but have to click each one individually. I have one personal and two business accounts and this new lay out is not a user friendly layout for multiple accounts.

  18. The ability to see the block sender's domains (like in the old Yahoo Mail)

    It feels like a piece of functionality has disappeared that I think was very helpful.
    In the old Yahoo Mail+ (from last week), I had the ability to, once I was in the SPAM folder, select all and see the domains of all of the senders. Then I could identify which senders I wanted to put into the block-domain list.
    Now, with the new Yahoo Mail update, that is gone.
    It was really useful and I would like to urge you to bring it back.
