WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Sent Folder - Mass Actions

    I'm trying to clean up my sent folder. There is no way to select multiple messages and do a mass action on them such as delete, move, archive, mark read/unread. You have to do them one message at a time. Bring back all of the action buttons that used to be at the top and also the select all messages checkbox. I don't know why these aren't there. Should be at least consistent with the other folders especially because the sent folder is one of the main folders in any email app.

  3. Undo Send

    Sometimes an e-mail is sent too quickly or hasn't been proof read thoroughly. It would be nice to be able to do edit or recall an e-mail.

  4. Turn Off "Streaks"

    I hate this annoying "Streaks" thing you've just started in Yahoo Mail. It has no discernable purpose. I can't find a way to turn it off in my desktop view. Show me how to turn it off - by an easy toggle preferably - or eliminate it. Please.

  5. Bug: Disabling AI Message Summaries toggle does not work (stuck on generic previews)

    I turned off the "Message summaries" toggle in Settings, but my inbox won't revert to normal. It is stuck showing generic AI text like "Linkedin has sent you job alerts for..." instead of the actual company and role details.

    I have already tried:

    1, Turning the toggle on and off again.

    1. Hard-refreshing the browser (Ctrl+F5).

    2. Logging completely out and logging back in.

    The UI says it is turned off, but the inbox is completely failing to update. Please fix this caching issue!

  6. Draft emails just delete while you are working on them

    Three times I have been writing an email and suddenly yahoo just says your email has been deleted. It just happened to me 11:47am 6/20/25 AZ time. I am so frustrated. I don't know why this happens and how to stop it.

  7. Images continue to show despite changing setting, this is unsafe

    I want to use the new Yahoo mail but it feels unsafe to do so until the images are truly blocked. They are still there for me. But when I switch to the older version they are gone.

  8. Fixing Issues with Fonts

    I would like the Font that I selected in my Yahoo Mail settings to function when I write an email. I chose Classic- Medium. When I write an email, the font automatically reverts to Classic, Tiny. I have to consistently change the font while writing the email to Classic Medium. Can you fix this ongoing issue?

  9. Tab button

    Bring back the tab button to mean "Indent". I was typing a work email, hit tab to indent, and the send button lit up.

  10. clicking outside the selector box of an email cancels all selected emails for deletion

    This drives me nuts. When i'm cleaning out emails, junk or otherwise, by selecting emails by clicking the box next to them, if i miss a box ALL the emails i've selected get de-selected. Then i have to go through it again. Huge pain. Please fix this.

  11. Ads: Fake Checkboxes - Looks Like an Email

    Ads in my inbox should not be permitted to look like a checkbox to get clicks.

    I had an ad with a box that appeared to be a checkbox, I clicked and it took me to what appeared to be a malicious link. I think it is likely something as a scare tactic to sell some form of PC protection service.

  12. When I select "full calendar" I can only see today's calendar instead of a monthly calendar.

    Can only see today's calendar, not a week or monthly calendar of events. This greatly diminishes value of the calendar. Give back the weekly monthly and year calendars. We are not fans of the new Yahoo.

    Hej, när jag ville logga in mig på appen så behöver jag bekräfta att det är jag genom mobilnummer, men det kommer upp min jätte gammal nummer som jag inte har länge. jag har även ändrat på yahoo men ändå visas den gamla. jag har 2 konto, huvutkonto robby.mueller@yahoo.se och ett underkonto mueller_robby@yahoo.se så visar fel telefonnummer vid inloggningen.

    very poor new interface (or layout)... Why can I not see the email to the right at the same time as the whole of the emails to the left (like Outlook)...? The old email layout was perfect... I am thinking seriously about changing my email to another operator after 20 years... Even the space given to see the email is very small; I can see only one or two lines of the email i have to keep scrolling and focusing ... the one who updated this layout did not have a 5-pound course.

  15. ebring back the oldemail, or at least allow attachements from recent emails exactly like the old system.

    Allow attachements from recent emails like the old system- way preferred the old system. It takes me up to 5 hrs rto attache files nw.. ogt=ften i am gettinf a red excalmation mark or attachemnts are not staying when forrding emails.. its impossibe. I will need to eave yahoo. Can you get athe odl email system if one pays for it?

  16. Have differnt Star Colors

    I was thinking it would be great if the user could change the star color from just red. I personally star a tone of emails but they are for different things like work, purchase orders, medical and so on. So for example, I could star my work emails with a yellow star and for medical a blue star and so on. Just food for thought.

  17. Emails not being recieved

    I have gone over 15 days without receiving any emails. This is very unusual and I cant seem to figure out what is going on. I have storage and have not even received an ad or coupon.

  19. Haunted Inbox Challenge badge

    I accidentally closed my inbox challenges does anyone know how to review Haunted Inbox Challenge badge? I can not see any challenges anymore and want to restore that feature.

  20. Need a way to UNMARK an email from SPAM when an actual email does not exist

    There needs to be a way to view emails that have been blocked by spam and have the ability to UNDO that.
