Search in inbox only.
We used to be able to search the inbox only, instead of in all folders. Bring it back. I often want to search the inbox without also finding things that I have already moved to another folder.

UI changes feedback
Please review gmail/outlook web ui for usability.
The new Yahoo UI is like 1990's reversion and looking at a 720p screen, no human factors considerations, optimized for ads and ai.
I embrace progressive change, not poorly designed, dumbed down ui when users are clearly looking for more.
costomabilty is king. Apple abandoned dumbing down the UI 15 years ago, Microsoft relearned that over the past 2 years as well.

Toggle between mailboxes
Toggling between the mailboxes is very difficult now with the new interface. I need to scroll to the bottom and select the mailbox. I was able to have that at the top and toggling was a lot easier. This is a bad move.

Conversation View
Reading and responding to emails within a chain is almost entirely unusable. You don't need to include the entire chain of responses with every reply it makes is so confusing and unreadable.

Sorting Unread emails by Senders Name
I have tried numerous times to sort my unread messages by sender's name and although the option is available, it does not sort. Can this issue be resolved as soon as possible? Would make removing unwanted emails efficiently. Thank you,

double click on name in address field
In the previous version, I could double click on a name in address field to display the email address and allow copying. Now it doesn't allow that. It shows the persons address but there's not a way to copy & paste it.

Undo Send
Sometimes an e-mail is sent too quickly or hasn't been proof read thoroughly. It would be nice to be able to do edit or recall an e-mail.

Return paperclip icon for attachments of previous emails.
The paperclip icon no longer displays the "recent emails" option while attaching files above the attach from local. omputer paper clip. This was a efficient tool for adding from previous emails. Since you have force fed the update again and removed the switch back to classic it is the least you can do to make yahoo email as useful before the so called New Yahoo email. There are those of us that would pay for classic yahoo email and I am one of them. I've had the email 30 years when it was was of Geocities. I can live with…

Out of Office response
Hi, the out of office response does not seem to allow selecting dates for a single day. Example if I am out of the office for 21st Aug 2026, the end date can't be set to 21st Aug, instead it sets at 22nd Aug and send the out of office message to emails received on the 22nd.

I need to know how many emails are in my custom folders.
I have many custom folders that contain many read emails. I need to know how many emails are in each folder. The previous version of Yahoo Mail would allow you to hover over the folder and a pop-up with the total number of emails in the folder would appear. There no longer seems to be a way of doing this for my custom folders. It works with the static folders like Inbox, Sent, Spam, etc. . Please bring back this important function to custom folders. Thank you.

Do not bold both the "from" line and "subject" line
It is so much harder to scan for emails that pop out having both fields bolded. Not sure if there is more to it than that, but I still prefer the look of the classic inbox and wish I could switch back to that.
