TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. Conversation View

    Reading and responding to emails within a chain is almost entirely unusable. You don't need to include the entire chain of responses with every reply it makes is so confusing and unreadable.

  2. Attachment Split View

    I do not like the preview of an attachment taking over the whole screen! Please have it come up to the side of the email like it did in Classic. Better yet... GIVE US CLASSIC BACK!!!!!!

    Hi Paola, can we please have a bit more info? Can you please elaborate? Are you writing an email and it saves as a draft and when you go back it's gone? We can't try and replicate because we definitely need more steps, context. Thanks.

    Create an option for users to delete all UNREAD messages with date selection, ie delete all "unread message prior to 1/1/26"

  6. Sent Folder - Mass Actions

    I'm trying to clean up my sent folder. There is no way to select multiple messages and do a mass action on them such as delete, move, archive, mark read/unread. You have to do them one message at a time. Bring back all of the action buttons that used to be at the top and also the select all messages checkbox. I don't know why these aren't there. Should be at least consistent with the other folders especially because the sent folder is one of the main folders in any email app.

  7. Undo Send

    Sometimes an e-mail is sent too quickly or hasn't been proof read thoroughly. It would be nice to be able to do edit or recall an e-mail.

  10. Allow customization

    I hate the new mail. I used classic mail for over 20 years, was forced to switch a couple months ago and now it's all changed again as of today. I cannot even see half of my unread/new messages unless I click on Unread messages . And now you've taken away unread messages from the left hand menu, I did finally find it, but it's buried and is taking me forever to read email now. I am also visually impaired and the lack of color optimazation is really hampering my email experience and these stark, harsh colors are ******* my…

    I do not want to see those ads please. Give ads on cars. college education, finance,AI, travel, money...)

  12. Unsubscribe Button

    Why is the Unsubscribe Button so prominent when I want to open a message? How many times have people accidentally clicked on that stupid button when all they wanted to do was simply open a message? This is a ridiculous bug that somebody, somewhere, thought would be a feature. Get rid of it

  14. PLEASE MOVE THE ATTACHMENT ICON AWAY FROM THE SEND BUTTON

    I'm sure the overwhelming majority of people use the send button way more often than the attachment icon. Tonight, I sent out two blank emails. I needed to attach a document, but I hit the send button instead. They are too close together. Somewhere at the top would be ideal, but at least at the end of the other icons.

  15. Ability to remove the starred and contacts box on right side

    The box on the the right side of the screen takes up all the viewing area. It is impossibe to read a message with this open on a laptop sized screen. Have an ability to hide or remove this box.

  16. Ditch this interface or at least offer a text based option

    This is the worst email interface I've ever seen. So bad that I will switch to something else if it's not changed. Many of us only need basic email without all the hard to use gimmicks.

  20. Still slow it's unsable

    Been trying to use the for a few weeks now. Unbearably slow. To avoid the problems, I'm forced to to use my phone's email client instead. FIX THIS OR GIVE US BACK THE OLDER UI. THIS IS NOT USABLE!
