WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  2. Out of Office response

    Hi, the out of office response does not seem to allow selecting dates for a single day. Example if I am out of the office for 21st Aug 2026, the end date can't be set to 21st Aug, instead it sets at 22nd Aug and send the out of office message to emails received on the 22nd.

    Please fix this, thank you.

  3. Yahoo Mail Plus subscription on an annual basis?

    Hello Team,

    Is it true that you can't get (buy) a Yahoo Mail Plus subscription on an annual basis? I'm referring to the subscription that removes ads from your email.

    Hi Paola, can we please have a bit more info? Can you please elaborate? Are you writing an email and it saves as a draft and when you go back it's gone? We can't try and replicate because we definitely need more steps, context. Thanks.

  6. Can not forward emails with attachments

    As in a few days ago I could not forward emails with attachments. I have to go to the old version to do so.
    Also, I do not know why now every attachment gets copied twice. If I send an email with 5 attachments when I go back to my email now it has 10 files.

    How often are you allowed to make changes? It is taking way too long for these things to get fixed.

  7. translation

    Please program a language translation feature for translating emails received in other languages. For example --- If I make a reservation for a hotel in Mexico and receive a message in Spanish, I would like to be able to have the program translate the message to English. At present, I have to forward the message to a Google account to make that possible.

    **** your new layout, stop trying to force people into using "primary" to sort their emails by your stupid filters NO ONE ******* WANTS YOUR PRE FILTERING. YOU ASSHATS HAVE BEEN MAKING YAHOO MAIL COMPLETELY ******* UNUSABLE.

  9. Indicate which subdirectory has a new message

    I have dozens of subdirectories to sort my emails. In the old view, when a subdirectory had a new message, there would be some sort of indicator (bold name or a circle next to the subdirectory). I see no such thing in the new view. When a subdirectory has a new message and there are already some unread messages in it, it is impossible to see if there is a new message in that folder. I am basically have to just check the Unread folder for any new email which is not helpful since I have a lot of new…

  10. Let me go back!

    My idea is to let me go back to the version I was using before I was forced to use this one. This version is not attractive and the list of emails makes it difficult for me to focus. This version looks like an AI designed it--not a human being.

  11. Need to expand messages and preview pane to cover the entire display

  12. BUG: PDF Preview Fails

    Attempting to preview a .PDF results in a screen that appears to start to render, then turns black. There is no way to scroll or see anything of the .PDF. The only option is to download the file and use another viewer.

  13. Starred box on the right side

    I have no starred messages so that empty box is taking up a third of my screen where I would prefer to preview the message I am on. That's a waste of space and I don't want it permanently on my screen. Please configure the layout to maximize only my message and the preview box. All that other stuff is unnecessary and a waste of space.

  14. Please put back the actual sender's email address coming in. I can eyeball bad messages quickly rather than hovering over each one.

  16. put my email addresses back at the top

    why are my email addresses moved to the BOTTOM and now I have to click TWICE to change address inboxes, which should be in full view. dumb update.

  19. Sponsored Ad displayed a fake lock-screen/siren/phishing scam

    An ad appeared at the top of my feed with a subject line of "2+ Unread". Unfortunately, I didn't notice the little "Ad" thing in the corner, and thought it was an update. I clicked on it. It started a page that ripped off Microsoft, said my computer was not up to date and I must update it now, locked it up, and also said that if I closed it I would lose data. All the while it emitted a high pitched noise from my speakers.

    This happened to me a couple times on my work compter, so I know…

  20. Turn off the new UI

    The new UI is terrible. Please do not roll it out. It is very difficult to distinguish unread from read messages. Unfortunately I can't find how to switch back to the old one.
